I Got That Off My Chest..........Let's EAT

And therein lies the rub. Some people make or sell cues and thus have an interest in them and talking about them. Others are in the pooltable or cue case business and wish that every thread were about their particular interests.

Some here hold or run or sponsor tournaments and that's where their interests are. Charlie Williams uses AZB as his own advertising board for Dragon Promotions and only recently has bothered to post anything other than ADS here.

I think that the majority here simply have POOL in common. They like to play it, watch it, read about it and talk about it. They read AZB because of their love of POOL and they get along with others here because of THEIR love of pool also. Along with daily visits to AZB to keep up with pool happenings, many here have grown fond of other posters, their pool game, there recent pool related purchases and their lives in general.

Most AZB members cut their online friends some slack while sharing in their lives, their hopes, dreams, sorrows and happiness. At AZB (as elsewhere) it all depends on whose ox is getting gored.

I understand your feelings, but I find that there is way more good here than bad and a wealth of knowledge for those seeking knowledge. I can live with AZB the way that it currently is and rely on the capable Moderators to see that it remains the greatest pool site and collection of pool experts and enthusiasts on THIS planet.....

I totally agree!!! Always two sides to a story. Was just trying to lighten it up. Sorry if I offended you in any way.

I've been and active member on this forum since 2003 and have seen alot of great posts and a lot of rediculous posts.

Moderators are trying to keep things on the up and up and flowing well on here, but some people are just asses! There are dedicated sections for various types of posts, this I personally like. It helps with clutter and organization.

Recently in the Main Forum a thread was started by another senior member about a cancer survivor and what happens... he's criticized by a relatively new poster because it's in the wrong or inappropriate section!!! This is outright BS!!!

If we are going to jump down someones throat for this type of post, yet still let others continue to bash others because they don't spell well, build cues the same way, teach a different system, charge more for this/that, have 1/2 naked avatars, etc...what has this forum coming to?

Who gives a crap if the person can't type perfectly, who cares if he/she uses a different type of glue on cue repairs, sets his/her prices too high or too low. When I came on this forum originally, there was tons, I mean TONS of quality posts to read and educate yourself on various billiard related subject matter. I have been a very active participant on this board and rarely, rarely post negative comments about things, I just keep them to myself. If you don't have something nice to say, don't say it.

However, on the flip side of that last sentence, I do like the threads that warn us of bad dealers, repairman, players, tournament directors, etc. But, that's information that needs to be out there to the public.

If you're going to post, it should be able to help the readers in a positive way, not just be some BS post that is 100% a negative PERSONAL opinion about someone.

Enough said, I feel better,
Zim

Spoken like a true man of the game and not the BS".. Write on brother..

the finale was the best episode ever. The retarded Kevin bit was funny and all the plot twists were amazing. Also, Pam is hawt.

My thoughts to a tee as well Smorg.Well stated.....for me all of this is such a NON issue. This site, its forums, and its members rock.Is it perfect?Probably not,but I don't need it to be perfect.

I disagree. I love all episodes equally, even season 1. How can you love one more than the other? They're all unique little awkward snowflakes. Sorry for hijacking your thread but I felt like it was discussed thoroughly anyway... and there's always room for The Office discussion.

I'm wondering what the Forum would be like if we were all a bunch of alien posters (like the bar customers in Star War, was it?)....

"Shut up you plegem, sure that shot was eay for you with all those arms"

"Don't pay attention to the yourigy, sure she has beautiful blue eyes, but her red eyes suck"

"Man, Goremth kept pouring lava juice in that mouth on the top of his head all night, no wonder slimey smorvant won that set, getting the 23 ball and all"

"I think you're wrong, so shut your mouths"

"You're just talking big because you're invisible on this planet, care to step out onto the space wharf and say that to my faces ?"

"I played better when I was a larve"

"That mottled worm has absolutely no stroke whatsoever"

"Please let your bet float above the table before you break the balls with your Varney pool pistol"

"Which one of you Morphans ate Eddie Wheat and how much did it cost ?"

Doug

Don't Make Me EAT You

******* I Failed To Notify: That OUCH can get the 19 ball from me for the next two millenniums if she posts in the proper galaxy and lets TAR IV beam it into our subconscious. I will float 3 ounces of PU204 above the light beam per set. We can play until one of our legs fall off or our inner light goes out.

Spotasaurus
( or, we can just "float for it" ) :)
