There is a slight delay with Sweet Tooth opening. I think the dates are being reset. Look for a note from Mike later on this. :eek:
 
Yep that's right!

Sweet Tooth is not going to open till about the 24th of January. And with some other conflicts on the same day (17th). We are going to push the matches out a few weeks.

Tentative date would be the weekend of Feb. 7th-8th.

fyi - the NCS 8-Ball Qualifier is on the 17th at Bullshooters, 11 a.m. start

The winner has to go against Jerry's daughter in a race to seven in Shoots and Ladders. (Note to Jerry: Maybe you better throw the pool match cause we all know how you would fair against the Princess of S&L:wink:.)

I will be in NY from the 27th of this month to the 10th of Feb so I wont be able to do any streaming for the matches.Since Jack Scerca was raised to a 10 and I to a 9,our titles are vacated and people will have to play for them.So Chuck and Jerry will play for titles,there are a few 8s matching up,so I guess we could see Jason play Mike and the winner of Jude and Ken could play the winner of Jason and Mike,that would be cool. :smile:

I agree about that a Round Robin would be the best format. I'm curious as to how that Robin got round anyway. Does he wear your wetsuit or is he the proverbial Early Bird?

Is everyone in agreement about doing this on 9' tables? Any objections?

Sweet Tooth has 3 brand new Diamond 9' Tables. If we stream the event with myself doing it, or AZBTV doing it (aka Mike Howerton), we can have the other 2 commentate.

Other specifics:
-$50 entry and pay 1st place only?
-Winner wins $400

or
$100 entry and pay 1st and 2nd place.
-Winner wins $600, 2nd $200

With only 3 tables, and everyone playing 7 matches we'll need to start early, say 11 a.m. or noon.

What do you think about Race to 7, 9-ball? 2 persons with most match wins advance to finals. In case of a tie, tiebreaker goes, Total Number of Wins, Win Percentage, Head-to-Head
 
here is my idea

50 dollar entry split 1st 300 2nd 100 . 50 dollar winner take all side pot ( which i imagine would get close to full participation.) this is for title of king of 8s and id hate for someone to get shut out because of high entry.

race to 7 9 ball on big tables is cool with me. i think the finals should be extended race to 9 or 11. just my suggestions
