By the way....

Hey Jamie,

Just wanted to say thank you for putting all your time and effort in this poll, I enjoy seeing all the amazing cues that were entered. I too agree about the feeling on voting for multiple cues.

And actually, can you or anyone else confirm if the #2 cue Tonkin "Chevron" is a wrapless?!?

Happy New Year!

Best,
Mo

Thanks for all the positive comment guys... I REALLY appreciate it!

After last year, I told myself that if anyone came into the thread complaining I was just going to turn it over to someone else. Well... that happened (like that was a big surprise), so I am going to let someone else handle it next year. I will be happy to offer advice and give them some pointers I've learned over the last three years doing this. I'm pleased the vast majority are enjoying the thread.

Mo - Yes, the Tonkin Chevron cue is wrapless. You can check out some additional pics here.

Jamie,

You've done an even better job with this than last year's. I didn't think that was possible!! Certainly a magnificent way to bring in the New Year!!

I love the barbell Szamboti but i love the twins better .....then agen i love mine the most
Thanks to all the people who mad it happen

Chris

Thanks for doing this Jamie! Appreciate it!
Just remember that like running a company/organisation there's always people who complains and whines and comes up with problems, but only a few ever comes up with solutions or steps up to do things without being asked. The ones that steps up to get things done are the leaders, and it's what separates the leaders from the average joes... Guess which category you belong to?

Thanks again! :)

Thank you!

Thanks Jamie! This cue of the year thread is one of my favorite parts of AzB! Your hard work provides me with a much needed mental respite thru a hectic part of the year! This years collection is particularly jaw dropping, I love the diverse spread. I just can't decide which to vote for.

THanK You!

Thanks!

I appreciate your time.

Jamie,

You need to let it go. Let the complainers complain... Don't let that bring your efforts down. Your contributions are my much appreciated as you know.

Jaime, you're doing a great service... Don't let a few bring you down...

I have the sister cue to this one (Snakewood base with Ivory on the windows). I would have entered it if this was not put out... Good luck to you Sir...

12. Gina Snakewood & Silver Box Cue

If the name of the cue was used in the original entry post, then I used it... if it was not, I didn't. If you think it is so despicable not to use a name, then why didn't you post the name of the cue in the entry instead of just "Surprised no one has nominated this cue yet."

I guess I cue have simply named it "Surprised no one has nominated this cue yet."

And with that my AZ friends, I am done with the AZ Cue of the Year. I'm tired of getting abused each year. Obviously others think they can do a better job of it, so someone else can step up next year.

I put the name of the Keith Kustom, "The Loose Cannon" in my entry and you missed it on the poll, and I couldn't care less. The cue speaks for it's self. I disagree 110% with the AZ'er that called you out. I think you did a fantastic job at the last minute!

Thanks Worm,

Justin Hanson

Also Worm, If you'll help me out with it next year, I will take over with putting it together from 2013 until I get sick of the BS as well.

Best to you, and thanks again,

Justin

Jamie, please consider naming Gina Snakewood & Silver Box Cue, Bertram. That will take it over the top, I'm sure.

Then, to even things out, reshoot the first two cues with a ten year old cell phone in a dimly lit room.

Jamie, major kudos to you for doing this once again.....obviously too many nits to fade.

Tap, Tap.

I'm a little surprised by the cues that are out front, but not completely surprised.

So many good cues in this thing, they all really deserve the win!!!

best,

Justin

Now I may be naive when it comes to cues, but for the life of me I can't see how the veneered wonder has twice as many votes as some of the other well established and yes cue makers HOF members.

Am I missing something here ? Granted the cue looks OK, but cue of the year??

Some one please enlighten me.
