AZB player for the open

Jimmy's got my vote for sure. If it wasn't for him, I woulda never been there last year. Well, I guess that was his boss' fault. Anyway, Jimmy plays as well as anyone when he wants to play and I think he'll be ready if he's chosen this year. Whoever does win, I'm in for whatever I can. Peace, John.

I am in, my vote is for Jimmy M., as well. I am in the process of relocating states, but I will try to keep up to date here as to where to send in the money.

It was unfortunate that Jimmy couldn't play last year. If I remember correctly it came down to the U.S.Open or his job. I think he made the right decision! I would like to see him receive the chance he should have had last year. IMHO
Rude Dog you also played pretty sporty last year as I remember. Peace

Send the southdakotakid shane van boening ;) well invested money there

Bad choice, in my opinion.

Shane's credentials are well known, but twelve posts on the forum is all we've seen from the SouthDakotaKid. Jimmy Mendoza, with 570 posts, is a long-term and active member of this forum that contributes regularly.

I think we should send an active member of this forum to the US Open. Jimmy, by posting frequently about his tournament experiences, has allowed all of us to share in and feel part of his success, and it makes me, and I sense, many others, want him to be the guy we send.

I agree and I would say Jimmy M as well. I dont think it needs to be a requirement that the person play great. IMO we are sending one of AZB's
own for representation.
I would send Shanes friend Big Nasty before sending Shane. Nothing against the kid. Very good player.

I think we should send OHB where ever he has been the last little while i dont know.

True about shane not being as active as jimmy m... im sure he can give us a low down on what happened down in vegas... just trying to throw names out

Ok, i'm in. i will donate $25.00............. I would also like to nominate The Joss Tour's own Joe Tucker to play.........................mike

I am honored to be mentioned, but I will officially remove myself from the list as I have already sent off my entry fee for the US Open (this will be my last). I would like to nominate Tony Crosby (TonyC). Tony is a great guy and a threat in any part the bracket.

I nominate Jimmy Mendoza. He ran 7 racks in the last tournament I saw him play in San Diego at the Swanee Memorial. He would definately represent well...
