Eydie, Mike and Holly,
Since it seems that everyone wants different styles, different sizes, etc., I thought it might be easier just to design a generic logo and make them ourselves on cafepress.com. So I took the liberty of throwing something together for both the front and back.
Visit http://www.cafepress.com/billiardbratz to get an idea of the variety of products. Since I used the AZB forums design (attached) for the default and have not sized it for all the products, some of them are going to look strange. Everything can be ordered now, but if the designs are not sized correctly to fit the product yet, you would need to have me do it for you. When I am sure of the default design, I will go ahead and fix them all.
This way, each forum member can buy about 99 different products at their own leisure and I will be happy to design them as they come in. For a sample that I have already done, check the fronts and back views of the polo shirts and thongs.
Some products do have the capability of having the same or different designs on front and back.
I have also customized 2 of the buttons and dog shirts and cards, so take a look at those. You can even get baby items, so your kids can match!
In addition, if you want something made up with your own graphics (does not have to be AZB related) I can do that too. I will just put your designs in a separate category and you can purchase from there.
All I would need is graphics from Mike or Holly, font style they want and colors, etc. I would also need written permission if I am to use their logo.
By having everyone order their own shirts, it will cut the cost, save on Eydie having to ship, and give us more size and product choices. Personalizing each shirt with a regular screen printer would be exorbitant to do individually. I have not marked up any of the products; they are already set by cafepress and are pretty reasonable.
I have ordered several things like the sweatsuit, polos, ornaments and they came out great - photo-quality printing and FAST delivery. The mugs can be designed for left or right handers, or with the image centered.
We could eventually make up our own books to sell with snippets of the Best and Worst of the Forums, or a yearly calendar to raise money for DCC or Vegas. We could also get our pros' autographed pics and make full-size posters out of them and give them the proceeds to fund their sponsorships. We could do this for any of their products. We would have to mark them up though for them to get any money.
So to sum it up, we AZBers have a store front where we can purchase our own products online. I have made a sample front and back and will wait for the ok before I customize anything.
Once we have selected a main design, and the front personalized design, then I will customize it for you with your AZ name, your real name, your date of joining, how many posts you have, how many reps you have, or whatever, lol. Ooh, wouldn't it be cute to have the 11 greenies as a logo?
After I size everything and personalize it, I will pm you with it for your approval. When approved, it will be ready for sale.
The only drawbacks to this I see are that people could order someone else's name, (but I guess they could do that anyway) and there are no micro-fiber button-down styles offered at cafepress yet.
I will attach the 2 designs I used as a sample.
