AZBilliards needs this now!

And that is a list of ALL cuemakers and their location, and perhaps their phone number.

This needs to be listed by Last Name, First Name, then State, City, and Phone number.

We all could contribute to this listing, but the problem would be how to combine the postings into 1, and then sort it to keep it in order. But if we could do this, I think many AZ'rs would find it most useful.

We could even include cuemakers from different countries, all we would have to do is add Country in front of State in the sort sequence.

If we had this one list, sorted, we could keep it somewhere on AZ as a sticky.

What does everyone think about this?

You might be on to something here. There are other resources for cue maker listings but they are old and some of the listings are no longer active. And obviously a person has to go Googling to find them.

There are many asking for cue makers in their vicinity for repairs etc.

With so many new makers and repair men out there, it would be a handy dandy sticky.

Start it up and see what happens, make it work.

What would be the point of AZ trying to keep a separate list? Seems like encouraging cuemakers to join their respective association. This is just one association that I have heard about but do not know of the accurateness. http://www.cuemakers.org/roster.php

Might just be me but I think that referencing a dedicated site is more beneficial than trying to create other lists. They have a cuemaker forum on AZ that should reference applicable sites.

Just my two cents.
