With almost 3,000 registered AzBilliards Discussion Forum members and just about 60 responses the first day, the survey is off to a good start. I'd like to see more responders, though, to obtain a statistically significant result at the end of 30 days.
Deadpoked, sometimes the PLACE portion on the member's info isn't filled out regarding LOCATION. I had thought about inserting a few more categories, i.e., gender, but thought it better to keep it brief, hoping for a larger turnout. To have the four categories inserted in the MESSAGE window, it will be easier for me to do the analysis and obtain the final results.
Wahcheck, I was unable to answer your "UNDEFINED, UNDEFINED" post yesterday because the website was temporarily down.
Eydie Romano recently inquired about the demographics in pool, which piqued my curiosity. The AzBilliards demographics must be interesting to others, since the thread had over 600 hits on the first day, but only close to 60 responders. I think the survey results, if successful, could be a useful tool. Hypothetically speaking, "According to a January 2005 AzBilliards.com survey, ('The A to Z in Billiards and Pool'), responders play on average 15 hours per week...." The mean age so far is in the forties! Interesting to me, as I thought it may be younger.
With almost 3,000 AzBilliards registered members, this represents a brief snapshot of the demographics of the Internet pool community. The one thing we all have in common is our love for the game.
PLEASE RESPOND to the AzBilliards survey.
