Bad Titlist-lookalike on ebay

I've got one identical to this, with original label, and signature, points end at exact same place.

Just sayin. (and no, I'm not selling the ebay cue nor do I know the seller)

Edit: mine has buckhorn, not black ferrule.

Interesting. Could you send a pic please? The only ones I've seen like this had lengths in the 40+ range. I assumed they had been cut down to deal with shots from against walls.

Ask and you shall receive...the ebay one looks like the points end at about 22 1/2" up from the butt...

Oops, are you referring to the inside points?

Look at either - yours has about 6" more butt. I appreciate your input.

I don't think either Nick or Tommy actually looked at the pic on ebay that shows the cue next to a measuring tape, or actually read the details of my post. No biggy - I posted this just as a warning to those who might be looking for a Titlist to convert. Certainly this one is no good for full-splice.

It is perfect ( as long as the thickness is appropriate) for a short spliced conversion of the Brunswick 26 1/2 blank.

My eyes aren't the best, but the last ebay pic sure looks like 22 1/2 inches, which is exactly what mine is??? I wish mine had an extra 6" (that's what she said)...:D

LOL, it is a 26 1/2 . I have converted several short handled ones.

lol, I'm sure those are real works of art.

Tommy, give it up - quit looking for my approval - I will never be impressed with your 'cue building' skills.

Seriously, move on.

Nick and Tommy...where is Cocobola Cowboy?

okay, I'm impressed. Now tie your shoes and hurry, or you'll miss the bus.

I too have seen plenty of old Brunswicks with these proportions, usually older ones. It's either a 26.5, or could also be a Carom King. Scott, really . . . grow up.

Don't touch this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=220781909163

The points END at about 18 inches, so the butt is WAYYY short. The cue is apparently close to normal length, so I have no explanation - it doesn't have a signature or any other identifying marks.

I see you point Scott, that cue does have some problems but I am not certain it is a look alike. It may just be a very very bad example of a 26 1/2, who knows, but the length is not a problem many were made short for Billiards games.

The shorter cues were used for straight rail or other forms of biliards where the butt of the cue had to be elevated during the game. The shortest one I have ever owned was approximately 53 1/2 inchs long with a Leather wrap.

Take Care Tommy

Outside purple veneer

It is a titlist or as Tommy said a 26 1/2. They came in shorties with sets of cues sold with Brunswick tables if you pleased as the need arouse.
Nick :)
