Bad to the bone - Video

That was too cool. I had never seen that before. Thanks so much for sharing. The Bad to the Bone guy really reminds me of a close friend! :p

Thanks for the post

I'm a Thoroughgood fan from way back- I'd forgotten about the video, one of my favorite songs though.

It all started in like 1980 when I got free tickets to see George at the University of Houston. Great concert- the opening act was some unknown, young guitarist from Austin named Stevie....:D

Great video!! I had never saw that until now. By the way I like the young guitarists music more than I like George's.:D ;)

I agree. I showed the video to Keith, and he got a kick out of it! :D

Here's the one and only picture I have of a younger Keith in TCOM, but there is a strong resemblance.

Haha! I loved that video. I'm a fan of George Thorogood as well and I had never seen this video or realized that he and Keith shared such a striking resemblance.

Let's see... Color of Money came out in 86 and he recorded the video I assume to be the same year as the song was released.. which was 88. What a knockoff of Grady Seasons! JAM you need to talk to some of your peeps in DC and file a suit against oh Georgey boy for stealing the likeness of the Ether!

It was also nice to see the late great Willie Mosconi doing a cameo appearance in the video. He even threw some money down on the table! Very unwillie mosconish, if you ask me. :)

The song was actually released in 1982 under EMI America Records by George Thorogood & the Destroyers.

I believe the band sang this song on Saturday Night Live also in 1982.

The song can be heard in the 1983 movie 'Christine' based on a novel by Stephen King. The movie is about a car (Plymouth Fury) gone bad.

I think this MTV pool video was made in 1992.

There is now a 25th anniversary album by Capital/EMI with the same name, 'Bad To The Bone'.

The cue case in this video is by George (Thorogood) www.youtube.com/watch?v=u30A1E4QoZw&feature=related
