Balabushka cues/ original owners

Of the 1100 or so cues that he made does anyone have an idea of how many original owners still have their cue?

I would say 100+. I get e-mails from people who claim to be the original owners, maybe 10 or so a year. Also I get people who claim to have Ramows and be the original owners...

Just 1500? I figured the number will be higher, especially when some of the owners point out theirs have a signature while the older ones don't.

I wonder if there has ever been a successful effort to document/photograph all the known balabushkas?
