This Cue Is A Balabushka Signature Series GB-8 Custom:
I had this cue built for myself and it was hand selected
from many manufactured GB-8's and without a doubt it
is the best of them-Terrific fit, Wood, Inlays, Rings etc.

I also had the factory do the wrap custom White & Green
Bushka style instead of the standard black & white seen on all
the GB-8's. Only 2 were made that way to the best of my knowledge.

The cue is Brand New, Flawless, Dead Mint, Dead Straight.
Weight is 19.4 Oz at 53 Inchs
Comes with 2 Matching Balabushka Shafts.....
The shafts are 12.50 with Morri Medium Tip and 13.00 with Triangle Tip
Blue Velvet Soft Case Included.

Really nice looking cue. Your last one was over the top for a production model, or should I say a one of one production model. This one looks even better in my humble opinion.

Great looking cue and sure it plays great too !!!

just so you know me before judging me by how i look, or the 14 year old car i drive [and I find it so useful and don't need another] i am not at all like BALABUSHKA-LADY. i wish her well and her husband to regain his health, but some of you know i can not use a cue with a SS joint. plus i need a cue that weighs between 17.5 and not more that 18.1 oz [for sure not 19.4 oz. as this cue]. i wrote a friend that asked me about why i bought this cue and i told him, i think these folks need some xtra $. meaning i did not want to see such a nice cue be sold at such a greater loss and hurting BALABUSHKA-LADY and her husband. i just figured somebody would want it one day, and besides it was a very traditional looking cue which i love especially.

if ken or poolplayer wanted it later i would have sold it at cost, maybe even auctioned it off for a charity or sometimes when i remember how grateful i am for so many things, i would have just donated or given it away.

but i feel betrayed for so few dollars. it is a shame.

even if BALABUSHKA-LADY said to me she could get a better price and was up-front to me, i would have told her - go for it, no problem here.

to end this rant i just want to say:

when ALL is said and done, the only thing that can remain is the values you teach your children.

i am cool with this.

If you didn't get the cue, you got the shaft instead... I watched that whole thing go down and agree that it was a decent price at $390 in the context of her story. However, if a seller drops their price to try and move something, they HAVE to take the first to respond at the "CURRENT" price even if it's 500 cheaper than opening price. A deal is a deal is a deal. I'm NOT saying that's what happened here because I really don't know ( I do know it's happened with other dubious sellers) Anyone that shorts a legitimate buyer at the set price,for a few dollars more is El Crappo in my book. Not to mention that just about every deal on AZ is sealed with a post and a time stamp. And if Pm's were turned off it makes it more important IMO.

However one question... If no one posted in the thread as a buyer at $390 I wonder? how did the seller get the message of a sell? email? phone call.

IMO It's not to far removed from the old "I reserve the right to end the auction early since the Cue is also for sell locally "<== I love that one.

and this was not an auction and i was the only person to stand up and take the cue. and yes, i was just trying to help this family as i have never to date sold any cue here, but i have given some cue with this cue's value to less fortunate children here [but that will change shortly - i just have too, too many and i can't afford to give them all to our kids]. and in trying to help, this BALABUSHKA-LADY clearly demonstrated no integrity, honesty or conscience.

and just to say so all can know, i would rather "be me" as i am, as i look and drive the car i drive and find very useful than be like this BALABUSHKA-LADY and the person who got this cue could ever know and understand.

this cue was just a few dollars, nothing really. but for sure, integrity is a priceless commodity that most of us on AZ share.

i have no ill-will. just disappointment that i will get over.

and i will still always try to be a kind, caring and decent human being despite this. i will not let it change me and harden me at all.

in life you meet all kinds. but i was taught that no matter what, you must always be true to yourself.
