Scott Lee said:Dan Janes made three copies of the cue that was designed as the "Balabushka" used in COM. Scorcese wanted to make sure that if something happened to one of them, they would have ready replacements. Only one was used in the movie, and both Paul Newman and Tom Cruise autographed it, when it was sold at a charity auction. I don't know what happened to the other two cues. Joss later brought out a production cue that was similar, but not exactly like the COM cues.

Pushout said:What does this mean?? If you're referring to the cues in The Hustler, Mosconi said either in "Willie's Game" or in a two issue article/interview in Billiards Digest, that the cues Newman and Gleason used were his personal cues and that they were Rambows.
