From Ariel Carmeli. This butt was made from a John Davis ebony into straight grain maple blank in the style of George Balabushka with respect to .050 nickle silver joint deco rings and steel joint look. A slight twist on classic veneer combo (black, orange, teal green and natural). The joint has thinwall steel collar. The customer requested bumperless, so we have a short chrome bolt to finish off the rear. The wrap is smooth vegetable tanned kangaroo. The shafts have a few more small cuts to be finished and are about 3 weeks away from being completed. I expect this cue to be an excellent player. Martin

Old School

I just love the old school look. I have a tascarella that is almost identical to this cue except the veneer colors and the joint type. Straight grained maple is just such a clean look to me....

Wow dj! I bet you cant wait to get your hands on that. Believe it or not, one of the ideas I have writen down for a custom carmeli davis blank is ebony with natural, green, red, and black into birdseye maple. Got a few different ideas, or maybe grab one out of Martins' stock. He has got some knockout carmelis I would love to get my hands on. But congrats dj! that is one nice cue.

Martin is a great guy to work with, I have done a number of deals with him and his customer service is top notch. He has a number of great looking blanks on his site now.
