i would love to play a few racks with that cue,, BUT why, no rings at butt, 6 rings at a joint and 3 rings at joint. not a really great design. personally i think, no rings butt, no rings at a joint and just one black with stainless at joint would look cleaner.
if you wanted a buzz ring at a joint, then just one black, same at joint and butt.

AND i am not knocking the cue as i know they are great, but just looking at it design wise.,

AND i am not knocking the cue as i know they are great, but just looking at it design wise.,

The design of George's cue were 100% for a pool player, not someone that was going to just look at it.
Depending on where the player wanted the balance point etc... Rings were added to this cue most likely to forward the weight, adding a little character to the cue was just an added benefit.

No. I build cues so I play with one of my own. But this cue does play pretty good.
 
I was right there when you bought that cue from mark.after all this time I never got to ask you about the hit,and if it has that old school sound to it.
