first you need pics but i think your mistaken on an age. george dies in the 70's and the adams gb line didnt come til the 90's.

after doing some quick homework seems rh did make the bushka cues starting in the late 80;s. learn something new everyday

Balabushka

Adams started making the Balabushka cues in 1987. i have written documentation from Adams on when this cue was made and the price it sold for and what it should be worth now. ($1,000.00)

Thanks for the reply though.

If you could only add an "h" in the name, and eliminate
the model number, you could easily add a "0" to the
left of the deciminal point :D

is someone going to nicely tell this man he has a production cue worth a little less than a warped meucci-or do i have to do it?

sir with no disrespect you have a production cue that im sure you enjoy
and is a well made cue by your standards(no disrespect)
its a production cue and unless the entire adam/chinese production
plant gets blowed up by that little nut with the missiles over there
wont be worth more than a few hundred dollars
good luck with your sale(sorry i had to be the dk)

none of us really have the right to do that. all that will happen is a seller can list a cue for what he wants and either the cue sells or it doesnt. then he can adjust from there.

They certainly are not as bad as a Meucci in my opinion. I don't think he was trying to mislead someone into thinking it was a "real" George Balabushka either, as he gave the retail price of the cue in the 80's as he sees it, and was not asking 30K for it. Now certainly not up to George's standards, but still a pretty good hitting cue for the money most of them go for.
But pretty much like Dave said, when a cue is priced high, it can be adjusted by the buyer. And Adam is actually a Japanese cue company.

Can we all agree that there are no 20 year old Balabushka's ? At least ones made by a guy named George Balabushka.

<-----just waiting for the Adams Szamboti line.

barry prob would never sign off on it. to him its about the cues and the tradition not the $$$

Interesting note. Someone once said" it is not the wand but the magician" and more interesting The $11.00 pool cue that E. Reyes played with in the 80's was reportedly offered to be bought for 30,000.00. So, maybe his Buska is really a wolf in sheeps clothing.
