Balance right extension???

I have a question for all the "feel of the cue" type players... I know that an extension between the butt and shaft will change the balance of the cue... But my question is this...

Will it affect the way the shaft/ferrule/tip combo feels? Example... will it dull the feel, sharpen the feel,? etc.... I LOVE a crisp "hard" type sound and feel, but don't want to spend the money on an extension if it will change that.

I doesn't change the hit really.

Feels good on long shots. Extra cue weight behind your back hand lets you follow through easier. I've had one and played with it a bit. I'm not using it though. For me it doesn't make a big difference.

Thank you. The specific reason I'm thinking about it is not for the length... but to move the balance point a little forward. Having a custom made as we speak, and because of the woods and style, it may be a little rear weighted for my preference. But I don't want to change the hit of the cue since this is why I went with the specific builder.

I've been using one and really like it. The biggest thing I have noticed is that I tend to use a longer bridge than before but the bridge is very stable. On a lot of shots I feel I am seeing the ball much better. I am just under 6' 4" by the way.

Depending on how much you want to change the weight a member of this site made some. I don't know if he still does. I have a Balance Rite and a 2 inch extension from NewSherriffInTwn and I prefer the 2 inch one for the most part.

I have been using one for about six weeks. I love it so much that I am going to get one for my break cue.

I bought a 60 inch cue about 30 years ago, and sold it a week later. The balance just wasn't rite for me.

I am 6' 5"

I might even try putting two on one cue just for fun.

I feel like it takes off some of my break when I tried it.

I did throw both on when shooting a buddy and it was ugly lol, but then again I suck. PM me where you shoot out of, I'm always looking for someone to shoot around with in Sioux Falls.
