I don't find it that strange. the room likely didn't tell anyone and I doubt AJ has the inclination or time to stick his head into the multitude of rooms in the B'more area, just to see if they have put in a billiard table.
 
Just another glaring example of utter malfeasance on the part of a bloated bureaucratic nightmare called the USBA.

I say "throw the bums out!"
 
I fail to see how the USBA can bear much responsibility on this one:
