Allison seems to have developed a little tighter game than Jean, but did not have Jean's break. I would think maybe Allison's stats would be a little better in 9-Ball than Jean's, but if Allison had been around when Jean was playing I think Jean would have stepped her game up a little and beaten Allison most of the time, but I don't think she would have won 16 in a row with Allison and Karen in the field.

Good analysis.

My question would have to be how powerful was Jean's break? Allison's weak break really proved to be a huge weakness in the ipt matches. I believe the break is HUGE. I would have to say Allison's weak break will prevent her from being the greatest ever. I haven't seen Jean play so I can't say who I think is better.

Jean had a strong break, comparable to that of an average, but not top, male pro. Perhaps 25-26 mph.

When Jean didn't come out of retirement for the IPT, (good move Jean) I gave up hope that she ever will. Johnnyt
