Friend's ER

I played with my friend's ER last night. Sweeeeeet... I'd like to share pics. hope my low tech camera does the cue justice.

The third attachment shows the ER with a solid shaft (top) and an ER 240(bottom). I tried counting the grain lines which was super straight on the solid shaft --- proved to be a challenge. ;)

Hello Bandido;
I see your work here and wanted to say how great I think your work is. Not sure you will remember me but you were kind enough to offer some advise an wisdom last spring, when I sold my collector Black Boar, which I did do successfully.
For what its worth, these cues are truely distinctive and beautiful. I particularly like the carving.

Best to you....

Hi Edwin,

Thanks for the quick reply. My fam will be thankful ill not be bringing a truck over to cart away our dear old sala table.

Ive been thinking, id like my cue to have the design of the 4 Kings from a deck of cards. Poker and Billiards being some of the things we learned from our father. I think the 4 Aces would be more common.

Looking forward to shaking your hand on Saturday.

I have been toying with that idea for a longtime and have Bandido in mind to make it. I haven't met Edwin, but I have read and heard alot of things about him. I have spoken to Gaga and Warren (when they were in HK during the San Miguel Asian 9-Ball Tour 2004) about you and Gaga would be willing to help me meet you in person.

I have the idea and have been polishing it every now and then to make it unique, but with the Gambler theme in mind. I'm not telling what and I'm going to tell only Edwin.....hehehehe

It's only the money that I need to come up with and hope it doesn't break the bank. :)

I do travel to Manila quite often for work, but don't wanna bother you until I have the bread $$$$.

Bandido, PM me when you passby HK. Dinner or Lunch and a couple of beers on me. ;)

Bandido, welcome back! Have missed your posts, to say nothing about the marvelous pictures of your work. I had asked JoeyInCali what had happened to you and he said that he didn't know but was getting concerned. He is currently making a cue for me and I'm sure he was happy to see you posting again.

Hi all, you may have read in the thread "Boiling Point" of how hectic it has been and is still is here. Aside from some undesirable matters that complicates operations switching OS to Xp proved to be a disaster, it's a virus magnet!. I'll try to log in as much as possible. Thank you all.

This cue looked much better in person.

I have a couple of Bicycle decks but the designs are different, I'll dig them out once my friend returns my magic box and take pictures. I'll get the better-looking ones for you.

Hi guys. Been real busy crafting cues and thinking and finding ways to raise the bar. Too many "everybody wants to be like Mike" here so they just have to keep up. Here's a scrim layout for GForce.
