There was ad in the Japanese billiard magazine some time ago -
an ad of Alpha International that said -
Edwin Reyes cues-
the price was about an equivalent of more than 10,000 US for one cue with ivory... then below the 10,000 price- it said- sale price - 7,000 US dollars...

there was another cue in the ad too - but it was too expensive for me to remember...I was surprised...

So, you guys playing with his cue are sure rich -yeah?

A plain cue of Edwin Reyes - is sold in Japan for more than 2,000 US dollars...by the same shop. Only Alpha sells this cue.

Is Edwin Reyes in the same class/ level as Gina cues? Unbelievable?
Who is Edwin Reyes? Is his cue really that good? How much did you guys buy the cues? Where did you buy them?

verified!!! hehehe yes folks thread was bump...
im quite certain and had personally been offered of such that I personally check (part of er's inventory) that's been missing/mysteriously disappeared from the shop... now resurface and ready to go/

cue was named "merwin's wand" for one of er's collector/friend
made from amboyna burl, loaded with ivory, carve ivory joint-buttcapp- er240 shaft signed.

3 years and counting still no sign of hope / justice be given to the late ER... furthermore, few individual/s who misrepresent him for their own personal gains?
yes, from faking/replicating/style of his works/selling stolen-questionable cues to mere using/name dropping to forging dead man's signature just to sell their cues??? not to mention a lone ICA member continues slandering claims on his site.

knowing ER who fought for players rights against abusive leaders, equality among makers, products, etc... it pains me on how things turned-out?

already posted against false claim on AZ/ using our names without consent to build a reputation? all he needs to do is ask for permission/at very least (dindo peres/ron/er +all rip) marcos a.k.a mc coy same guy that worked with miranda,patrick,gracie,jenor,giant,etc that folded up?

I've built a couple of cues using Ed's "drop shadow" concept. It was one of the coolest new ideas I've seen in many years. Of course Edwin did first give me permission to use it, and the cues I did use it on, were made with the purchaser being well aware that the concept was a tribute to Edwin! Ed and I became good friends. I wish I had made it back to visit him again in the Philippines before he was taken from us! It was planned and often talked about between us, but he was taken way too soon! Edwin had an affect on most everyone he met. He was very intelligent but not in an aloof way. He was kind and generous to a fault. It's no wonder that so many feel the loss! Rest in peace, Buddy! I really miss those phone calls in the middle of the night to discuss different ideas and things we wanted to try. God Bless!
