Bandido's cues

And this piece of information may just be the shocker. All the cavities for the inlays in all the cues that you've seen were cut with these tools.:D Told you that you'll be shocked, as even Sherm Adamson who recently visited my shop was.

This is amazing. I would love to shoot a few games with one of these cues. It's a shame to lose a great artist like Reyes. :(

Here are pictures of my Edwin Reyes cue.
It is a cue with 11 points, another great example of Master Reyes' great cuemaking skills.

Please keep the pictures of Edwin Reyes cues or Doc Holiday cues coming in to remember a great cuemaker.

last sunday August 2 2009 (I, ed's sister and wife) found out that some of ed's work been missing from ed's shop... 3 of which are almost complete with corresponding ER signature, green/blue multi veneers loaded w/ ivory unwrap 2 shafts each, 1 7pt amboyna/seasnake wrap, merwins wand-II, er's ebony cue w/ 5/16x14 pin rings in abalone, 3 unfinish butts all with ivory. as of this time those mentioned are missing/we havan't re-inventoried the whole shop but have added additional safety locks. pix be posted later. kindly inform me via PM (linds) or (sputnik) if ever you see someone seeling ER cues on the net with resemblance on said cue details...

what're those marks on the shafts?

wow..can't believe this.

im appealing for your help on this... cues were intended for auction for ed's children future needs. there was no sign of force entry as shop's windows/doors are kept lock/intact. suspect/s quite familiar with "prized cue-s" and of the shop/might have keys/access.:frown:

Wow! Master™

Edwin and I exchanged several PM's in the past few years before his death and I enjoyed them a great deal. I had promised that if I came back to the Philippines, his shop would be my first stop.

He was always interested in talking to me about his new shaft designs which he was always excited about. I guess he knew what my hot buttons were. He would often tell me bits and pieces of some of his experimental shaft "work in progress" and had hoped that one day I would have one of his.

I had missed this thread entirely and I can only say that I see why others called Bandido, "MASTER".

Rest in peace, MASTER ™.
