From their website:

" At Bank Shot Billiards you will receive expert installation and service. In fact, Bank Shot is the only business in the tri-state area where the installers and technicians are certified by the Billiard Certification Services, Co. The "BCS" has extremely high standards that must be met in order to be certified. "

Can someone tell me what "BCS" is?

...and where they are located ?

From the "Beck's Billiard Service" web site.

Certified Billiard Mechanic
A certified billiard mechanic is a professional, who has been tested and certified by the ABIA (American Billiard Installers Association) to properly install and service all major brands of pool tables. In addition, business insurance is verified and all proper state and city licenses are required.

I didn't know the "ABIA" did testing to see if someone knew what they were doing or not...LMAO

Yesterday I read an ANTIQUE TABLE APPRAISAL done by someone claiming to be ABIA and BCS certified.

??WTF

would you be surprised to learn that the appraisal didnt even include the name of the table that was being appraised...

someone is just itching.....just begging to get sued !

By the way - I'm talking about Bank Shot in Sioux City Iowa.

I welcome them to come here and explain what a BCS is, and how to write a legal appraisal.

I've called them, and a few others that make the same kind of claim to be certified mechanics, and have always found out that they have no idea what they're doing, let alone doing it right.

On a different note, the poll you started in the main forum is not doing so well, at a 70% disapproval rate when it comes to being BCA endorsed, as I've said all along;)
