vagabond said:What does the word ``all-in`` mean?
hemicudas said:How are ya, Vagabond? All in means the bet, per ball, is what ever the lower man has in his account. In this case Brian had $6,900 meaning they were playing for that amount per ball. If he had made the first ball the bet would have been what ever Shannon had in his account for the next ball, which is what happened.
ragbug74 said:they raised it to whatever the amount the lower player had left. In this case, it was Brian at $6900.00.
Accustats recording and making tapes of the event increase its credibility and popularity and naturally its exposure, making it far more attractive to sponsors, and drawing bigger fields and audiences.Shorty said:Hey thanks for clearing that up for me ragbug, I really appreciate it.
Now it makes more sense and I am sorry to Grady for thinking it was his doing.
I agree...if they want to have a say so in the match, they need to cough up some DOUGH!

I was sitting directly behind Gregg, and was probably as close to him as Shannon was when he walked over to discuss the saver. Shannon's first words were "I have a shot to win, but its kinda bullsh*t this is coming down to one ball..you want to split it?" Meanwhile at least two or three people were yelling CUT IT UP! CUT IT UP!
I also agree that doing the saver was the right play, or at least it seemed that way sitting ring side. Gregg took the one shot in the match that was worth $14k and the shot to the side pocket was soooooo close. He was shooting at a pocket that was partially obstructed. Maybe a 4" pocket and he jusssssst missed it. Wow that was crazy too because from the angle I was sitting, watching that slow roll shot, he missed it by maybe 2-3 millimeters. Unreal how the game comes down to that for all the cheese.
