Show the cues that you have that are total dogs.

I bought this Falcon to bring to dive bars where I don't want to be too flashy, or if I'm worried my nice cues would get stolen.

I recently put a pool noodle on the handle just to see what it would be like to grip. I call it the "super earl wrap" lol. Surprising result was that cue became much louder now as the wood is free to vibrate more without being damped by your hand. It's too big to use everyday but was a fun experiment. I need to bring it to my local place to see exactly how it feels shooting through an entire rack but I bought balls around at home just to test it. Thinking of putting on a silicone wrap later but it doesn't really need one.

I bought this cue from Goodwill and it came with the Finish peeling off the butt and near the a joint so I threw a little epoxy on to seal it even though it only made it look slightly less sh*tty. Still Falcon is a great cue, and it's fun to have a barbeater that I don't care what happens to it.

Found a cheap predator shaft to go on abs it matches perfectly. I know why predator calls it the Z shaft, coz it's so Zzzippy... lots of juice.

Well I had Rick Howard build me this to take to bars and such. Does that count?

That's way too pretty Ken. I think the
Criteria is whether you would let a toddler swing it around or not.

Belongs in the sneaky Pete thread I started years ago. Very nice cue. The Falcon was 25 bucks and I found the Z shaft for 50. So under 100 for an ugly, but high performing cue.

Over the years my preferred bar cue has always been a Dufferin Phantom - the old ones with the pin in the shaft. They almost always look like trash and play great.

I don't go to bars anymore, but I tend to try to keep one around anyways. I have one now I'll post a pic of when I get a chance.

I had a good one but sold it. It was a cheap Cuetec pos with the glass-coated shaft. Kept it in my car yr. round and it never warped. Made some good $$ with that thing.

Howdy All;

Have a pair, One is an older Dufferin, I use it as my break cue but still have a regular
shaft I can use with it. The other is a Bacote version of the ones Mueller's used to sell
with a new shaft made by Schmelke.

I have a couple of them. Used one as a break cue at (pool hall) league 20 years ago. We'd lay our cues on an adjacent open table but the Phantom kept disappearing forcing me to wander about and retrieve it. Often I'd have to prove it wasn't a house cue by unscrewing it, fools who took it would try to tell me it was just a rack cue. Near the end of that period I would partially unscrew it when leaving it on the table with all the other cues.

Oddly enough, this has happened to me with every kind of cue, including my 60” full splice Tascarella player. Steel joint, veneers, hoppe ring, everything. Guy still just picked it right up and started playing with it.

Cuetec butt with a radial pin and a custom LD shaft. Sits in the trunk of my car until needed.
