Bar Table Dennis Vs SVB Updates

Shane's putting on a clinic. He comes back from the break with a 3 pack 128-78. The last of that pack started with a long rail bank on the 3 and had a 5,6 combo in it to boot.

Shane was working on a 4 pack but came a little short with shape on the 6 and over cut it. Dennis gets out. 128-79.

Dennis breaks and makes one ball but only gets one past the headstring. Shane comes to the table and makes short work of a wide open table. 129-80.

Shane makes one ball on the break and has a tough shot on the 2, it looks like it wasn't fully clear from the 5 and Shane had to throw it into the pocket with inside English. He had to leave himself long on the 3 and slammed it in going down table and nudging the 4 into the 9 at an odd angle. Shane elected to thin the 4 into the 9 further and try to slide the cb behind the 8. Dennis is forced to one rail kick at the 4 and hide the cb behind the 8. Unfortunately, the 4 came all the way around the table and knocked the 8 out of the way.

Shane appears to try to carom the 4 off of the 5? but it comes back down table right on top of the cb. Dennis safeties it and Shane plays a kick safe back. Dennis jumps the 3 and makes it into the corner which knock the 7 over directly in front of the 6 wired into the corner. He runs out. 129-81.

Dennis breaks and makes 2 balls and has a back cut on the 2 into the side. Dennis overruns shape and almost hooks himself behind the 9 but still manages to make the 3. The difficulty with this rack is getting shape on the 7 as the 8 is in the way. Dennis elects to give himself the middle difficulty cut and runs out the rack. 129-82.

Dennis breaks and makes the 9 which spots. It's a compliant break but the 4 is blocking the 1. Dennis pushes to where Shane can see the 1. My guess is that Shane will two rail bank the 1 down table and send the cb to the opposite rail attempting to get behind the 6.

He elects to use greater control and soft banks the one towards the cluster up table and puts the cb on the longrail with the 4 in between it and the 1. He 1 rail kicks the 1 and hooks Shane. Shane hits the one but leaves an open shot for Dennis. I'm not sure that the 5 passes the 7 in the corner and Dennis doesn't think so either as he gets shape on it in the side and runs out the rack. 129-83.

Dennis breaks and makes one ball on the break. He has to jump for the 2 and misses it, leaving an open shot for Shane. Shane gets excellent shape on the 4 and then comes around 3 rails for shape on the 6. He then draws into the 7 and sends it to the rail giving himself a long wide angle cut that he sends straight down the rail with shape on the 8. He gets out to get 20 games from closing out. 130-83.

Shane breaks and makes 3 balls on the break. He has an open shot on the 3 but he overshoots shape on the 4 and has an awkward back cut. He makes it and the 6 is sitting in the side pocket, making the rest of the table a simple run out. On 2 pack going for 3. 132-83.

Shane makes 2 balls on the break and has an open shot on the 2. He slightly overruns shape on the 3, but uses inside to stun the cb 2 rails and hold for the 4 down table. The rest of the table is wide open. 3 pack and a 50 game lead. 133-83.

Shane makes 2 balls on the break. He's breaking a little harder now than he was the other 2 days. The one was a tough cut that Shane made look easy. It's an open table. 4 pack 134-83.

Shane breaks and makes one ball but a compliant break with an open shot on the 2 and a wide open table. He flirts with the 3 cut into the corner and bounces it in but runs out again for a 5 pack. 135-83.

Dennis makes 2 balls on the break and has a cut on the 2 available and an open table. He gets out to get back to within 50 games. 135-85.

Dennis breaks and makes 2 balls on the break and starts to have a shot on the 3 until the 8 rolls up on the cb. He may be able to go rail first with spin and that's what he tries, unfortunately, even though he hits it well, the inside spin on the cue transfered outside to the 3 which caused it to rebound off the right face of the pocket and hold up in the pocket. Shane gets an open table and runs out to get 14 games from the end. 136-85.

Shane breaks and makes 2 balls on the break but it doesn't look like he can see enough of the 2 behind the 9 to cut it into the corner. He obviously could, or could see enough of it to throw it in and plays out to a 5-9 combo to get out and start a new package...137-85.
