Hi,
Straight Grain Maple & Ebony with 45 degree orange/maple/black box veneered rings with 8 inlays designed by Mr Hoppie. This was the last A-Jointed cue I built.
I built this cue about about 2 years ago and it was sitting in my shop with the wrong wrap on it. I had originally bought a leather textured wrap that looked like a basketball and was excited about doing it as the Basketball Jones cue with orange veneer rings to accent the wrap. A lot of my friends that come into my shop told me not to do with that wrap so I put on another black bison wrap.
Before the windy city show, I removed the wrap and the basketball wrap was installed. After that the cue was sexy to it's new owner.
Moral to the story, "Always go with your first instinct". LOL
Rick
A few Mooris and some shaft burnishing and waxing left to do.
