Battle Of The Bull 9 ball tourney happening now

Billy’s well on his way to flushing his pool career and moving on to digging ditches or flipping burgers.
And that’s sad to me, bc I understand the struggle of alcoholism from being the child of two alcoholics. That sucks, big time. It’s hereditary, the gene for addiction.

according to this link, Yapp has defeated Gorst 13-11, although it still says pending so I'm not sure if there's some uncertainty for some reason. If the win is in fact a win, then Yapp defeated three straight members of USA's Mosconi Cup team to take it down: Sky, then SVB, then Gorst in the final.

thats VERY SPORTY PLAYING
congrats to yapp

Congratulations to Aloysius Yapp; he is the Battle of the Bull champion.
It was a really great event for Fedor Gorst with the runner-up finish.
It was an incredible final, with both players fighting to the very end.

I find it amusing how when some tourneys get close to the finish, for some reason, the brackets, which worked perfectly the entire event, somehow pause out or just are flat out not updated until the end of matches. Same old fuckery a foot. Pool just can’t get away from it…
If it's DigitalPool it's because the owners/programmers don't have the energy or interest to fix all the problems. It's in use for the 14.1 at QMaster and it's incredibly slow and hard to use. It doesn't really understand the round robin phase. It has some useful features but in my opinion it is not ready for prime time.

The Inaugrual Battle of the Bull 2023
Aloysius Yapp won the 9-ball, and Roland Garcia won the one-pocket. Congratulations, guys.
What a fantastic event! Thank you to the Wolf's Den for hosting, to Bull Carbon, the major event sponsor, and, most importantly, to all of the players that participated.

The best engineers do not go to work for the skateboard company!

Helmstetter went to work as the chief engineer at a golf company and became a multimillionaire. I'm sure there's millions in skate boards too.
Can confirm the millions in skateboarding... used to work in that disgusting industry many moons ago. As a lifelong skateboarder. I can confirm, the industry isn't 'for the love'. It's about selling the 'love' to anyone who will buy it. Skateboarding is for everybody, most importantly, it's for freaks and geeks. F fashion, F identity politics.

I'm sure DigitalPool can figure it out... can't be too hard (actually just found that platform, and it's quite useful already lol)

I played an event this past yr in NM, not sure if it was a Digi pool situation, but it WAS computer driven.
It allows the TD to play in the event, the computer did the thinking. :)
The TD had no clue which table you would play on next or in two hours.
Made you wait/hangout/STAY in the room 24/7.
One of the WORST aspects of play when your trying to win.
A flow chart with winner/winner 1st and Second round, losers bracket third ALWAYS worked.
The players understand the board and KNOW how long it takes to get to the third round and the board flow.
Fri pm Calcutta/draw/first round of play/hotel room$$$$ and your rest a must.
Make it to the final sixteen on Sun, player MUST get a hotel room for a second night.
You get a good night's sleep, get up then lose your AM match.
This 96 player event I was in last month.
They only paid out the top 16.
You had to get a room Fri/Sat/and then play Sunday am.
If you lost first round Sunday on losers side, you made 0 dollars, the calcutta had $51,000.
Your one outta the money, in the TD payout and two out in the calcutta.
But you paid two days hotel, food gas and waiting around and made O "$".
What fun. :)
