Was this the really really long match or was that not in the finals. One went for hours!!

All I know is I went over and watched a few games of Keely Fisher versus someone and on the next table was two ladies. One was Asian. I watched the first two games and then left.

I returned over 5 hours later and they were still there. I made a comment about how odd it was that they met again but a guy said "no this is still the same freaking set"!!

I thought he was joking but then I heard again about a 6 hour match!

Thats crazy. Not sure who the players were or who the girl was playing Kelly Fisher. She was goodlooking and played well also. I think someone said she was from Chicago or Michigan. Not sure what round it was so I am not sure as to who to look up.

I think you are referring to my match, and YES! IT WAS TOO FREEKING LONG!!!!! Over 7 hours to be honest... I came from the loss side so I had to beat my opponent two sets of race to 7. However, it should had not taken that long and it's not like we were couple of bangers who kept beating balls to the rail. I won't go into details because it's neither here nor there. All I can say is "I WON! ".

I was asked, right after the match "how does it feel to win?"
My honest reply was..."Numb". Yes, it wore me out...

Two, grueling long sets. But it was worth the fight Thanks.

Rebecca Waggoner was next to me playing Kelly Fisher and she is real good player with solid track with BCAPL. I think she took 3rd? I had ample time to browse around my surroundings during that 7 hour match, as you can see

I don't belong to a BCA team. Didn't play the 8 weeks to qualify. BCA offers for non-qualified members to pay extra fee and compete in a separate division called "Player Member". However, by winning it so, I did get bumped up to Master.

Yes, thats a long time to play, even for 2 sets. But congratulations on the win. Kinda sucks it moves you to the Masters division, the Open probably pays a little more. But maybe you can snap that off next year.

Yes, that is correct. BCAPL does extensive "back ground' Investigation on Player Members for their previous achievements in pool and place them in Player Member, Master, or Grand Master. I had never won a major event before, not even a WPBA qualifier, so legitemately I fell in the Player Member catagory. Iris Ranola, whom I befriended from meeting at the Great Lakes Tour Qualifier...didn't get so lucky and was placed into the Master Division. She won the qualifier there. However, from watching her performance, she indeed belong in the Master. She's graduated into the Grand Master level. We were rooting for each other hard while we both withered though a long double set matches

Can you tell me more about Iris? Did she learn to play pool in the Philippines? When did she come to the States? Recently, the PI women are making headway in women's pool as are other Asian women - present company included.
