Thank you.

Yes, thats a long time to play, even for 2 sets. But congratulations on the win. Kinda sucks it moves you to the Masters division, the Open probably pays a little more. But maybe you can snap that off next year.

I was just happy that I got to play and the pay out was awsome! Considering the number of entries. Lot of $$$ were added:D as BCAPL does for every level divisions. I know I have real work cut out for me in the Master Division so it motivates me to actually learn the "tactics and moves" of 8 ball. I lack even the most general 8 ball sense and made my possies very frustrated for not recognizing the "right moves..." Good thing I could pocket the balls:D when the opportunities were presented.

You had an awsome match as well, CONGRATS!!! I was watching all the final matches going on around me. Like I said...I had TIME TO KILL, LOL

BCA offers for non-qualified members to pay extra fee and compete in a separate division called "Player Member". However, by winning it so, I did get bumped up to Master.

I'll take the wild seven... and the breaks. Congrats, by the way. Didn't get to tell you in person. You are my hero. ;)

Can you tell me more about Iris? Did she learn to play pool in the Philippines? When did she come to the States? Recently, the PI women are making headway in women's pool as are other Asian women - present company included.

First and formost, she is one of the nicest and sweetest person I met. Most girls come off as "catty", especially a new blood in a qualifier arena... She was warm, funny and very friendly and soon I had found out that she flew in from Philipines, staying at her sister's house in IL and took a train ride - by herself!!! to the qualifer at Galesburg, IL. That was some determination. In a foreign contry running around by herself and chasing your dream:) I was genuinely happy for her that she had won the qualifier and there will be more of Iris you will get to see and hear.

She's learn to play pool in Philipines, with all the heros... I mean the heros in the likes of Efren, Busty and Alex...(I am so jealous! ) However, she tells me in Philipines there are not many female pro players since they don't have a women's tour. She'll travel in and out of US, but hasn't moved here.

I will let her know there are fans of her already.

Thanks, congrats to you too. I'm no CubC. I can't give you Wild 7, lol :D :D As a matter of fact, considering how calm you gamble for Big $$$ I need the weight, hehe.

Congrat's sunnyday! It was great to meet you when you were watching omgwtf the first day of singles (she was playing my friend with the dark-pink hair).

Who did you play in the finals? I think I was next to you at some point playing scotch doubles on that Tuesday afternoon.

Great tournament!

Hi, it was really nice to meet you too. Your friend's hair was really red:p

I played Mary Anne Marr from Michigan. I know I played next to lots of people on Tuesday. I had back to back matches from 9 am Tuesday that went onto 1:30 am next day. Brutal!

I am happy it's all over and I landed on the SunnySide:D

Thanks and hope to run into you again, sooner than next year.
