AZers be aware of andrew65065. He will ask many questions about your cue and then tell you to consider it sold. Then he will tell you he is sending the money and he never does. In my opinion he is just fishing for your info for Paypal and Ebay. Not sure what is going on so I just thought I would let everyone be aware.

This seems very common here these days on AZ.....
 
That is a big greyhound. For a female she is unusually large. She stands 3 ft to the top of her head and is 80lbs.. Average size for a female is about 56 to 60lbs. and about 26 to 30" high. They are great animals to own. Thanks for the comment.

second, I've had two greyhounds, one male - one female, and I would have bet the ranch that the one in your avatar was a male. Yeah, 20+ lbs above average for a female, she's a whopper. :)

Sounds like anoother new AZ poster

Sounds like another new AZ poster who just got banned. Perfect waste of time. They like to buy with PP then cancel just prior to your shipping if you figure them out. Lots of stolen credit card, new PP account buyers out there too. Just another joy of being a seller. When the stuff hits the fan Paypal will leave you holding the bag.
 
I read that Google check out was supposed to be pretty good for transactions. Does anyone know of it?
 
Say what you like but not fishing for any info. I asked questions before sending you $425 and cigarmike didn't even answer all my questions. Im not here to cause any trouble but when I ask questions before buying and also have a life other than az so sorry I thought about it before buying. Ban me if you like but I have done nothing wrong.

It isn't a matter of Escrow. Someone tells you consider the item sold. Then they tell you they will send money not once but twice, while asking for your info to do so. Then they don't send the money and they ask more questions and tell you they are going to send the money again and they don't. Then you don't hear from them for a couple of days, what would you think? In the meantime you get some response from other AZers who might be interested, however you don't pull the trigger, because you believe the item is sold. Not the way to do business IMO.

I told you I had to talk to my wife and said i didnt see a problem and consider it sold. I never saw you say on ad sold pending payment. I dont like that you called me out as a scammer when I make it a point to be very honest. I talked to mike on friday and was asking my questions then friday afternoon my wife took me to hospital for chest pains. so sorry mike that I didnt send payment on friday. Then even after a message from mike on saturday that wasnt so nice I said I was gonna send payment sunday night then saw his az be aware thread and decided against dealing with him anymore so the last thing ill say about this matter is all of you can keep attacking me and thats fine but I am not scamming anyone. I am just looking for a nice custom cue to buy but if you wanna ban me then ban me. I dont care. Im just a pool player that likes cues and was looking for one to buy and cigar mike would have had payment sunday night had he not tried to make me out to be a conartist. Im done with this situation. I will buy elsewhere. I wont deal with people like mike on az. sorry you feel the way you do mike but remember this, people have things come up and you might think about that before you start telling everyone someone is fishing for info.

You couldn't be more right, that is the reason I don't use PayPal any longer.
They simply say it's not their fault and you have to suffer the consequences.
 
My rule of thumb is that I give the prospective buyer 24 hours to make the decision, and I call/text/email them to get a final answer. If the payment is not recieved after the second conversation within the hour, I move on.

A simple PM saying that something came up would have gone a long way.
 
I wasn't quick to call out a scammer. The first response from the buyer was on 2/23. I answered the question and was again questioned on the 25th and was to consider the cue sold and he would send payment that night after I had given all of my Paypal info and also address to send money order if need be. Didn't hear from buyer for 2 days. Then I get a message that he was busy and would definitely send payment. I accepted the excuse and waited 2 more days without a response. I then sent a message stating that I would like to know what was going on considering he was jerking me around and didn't hear anything until I posted the Be Aware post. Then he responds to me saying he would send payment that evening and would check to see if the cue was still available. He then sees the Be Aware post and responds to that saying that he was busy. Now he says that he didn't respond to me, because he went to the hospital with chest pains, however he never mentioned that prior to yesterday. If that was I problem in the beginning I would have given him the benefit of the doubt. I like ever other good AZer was concerned and wanted to make everyone aware that there might be a problem with this NEW MEMBER. I don't feel as thought I am wrong in this situation. You can check my Itrader and my Feedback on Ebay and you find that I am a stand up person. The problem with this situation is that there are people in this country who don't take the time to be considerate. That is all I have to say. By the way I have the emails to confirm everything. Thanks for your comment. PS/ The proper thing to do would be to apologize for screwing up and continue on with the transaction if need be, not to try to blame the seller for the problem. IMO
