Be Careful dealing with Shotmaker Aka Mark Roach

After i agreed to the deal with Monto, he told me he would send the butt the following week or so. i figured that would leave plenty of time to get back and get it. ( under 30 days) I had told him i was leaving for Canada prior to him shipping the butt,, I had no idea he was in Thailand. Two days before i was leaving he tells me that he shipped the cue, which was a week earlier than he had originally told me, i got online to check the tracking, however it told me it wasn't in the US system yet. ( Thailand) i guess, but i couldn't get any info on it before i left. While in Canada i was online briefly and checked it then. I've never been to Canada before, so i had no idea my phone would not work from there ( verizon) Otherwise i could have called the post office and had it placed on hold.
I agree it's miscommunication on both parts. However, i saw it as myself being out the money, he says it's insured, i don't have access to that information.

I do believe the butt will go back to him or he'll collect the insurance,

i really don't see his behavior as that of civilized human being, he says it's insured, but i know as soon as he files the claim they'll more than likely find it.

So you would've called him if you had cell service?? Thought you erased all of your inbox messages?? Canada doesnt have land lines or internet access??
 
I visited canada once. Great beer, horton's donuts, strip clubs....and oh yeah public phones. The hotel i stayed in even had phones and a pc in the lobby.
My aplogies if you were in on a 30 day pilgrimage through the woods. But you could of nade a phone call.

Get real, I wasn't going to pay their outrageous fees to make a phone call to the Us and i definitely wasn't going to call Thailand, who would i have called.

Any idea what it would have cost per minute to dial from Canada to the Us all over a $125 Brianna cue butt, i wasn't going to lose sleep over that one lol

I never had his phone number, it was never given to me, i would have called usps to hold the package until i returned.

If Monto was a real man, he would have dealt with this before airing his dirty laundry

Says the guy who, if what Monto said is true, filed a dispute without talking to him and solving the problem. Now you are chastising him for airing his laundry before "dealing with this".

Sounds a little backwards to me.

This has nothing to do with the transaction with you, why don't you show the thread to everyone.
That post was legitimate, i do have a right to complain about a shaft that was listed as being 4.2 ounces , yet weighed 3.8 and 4.2 with the joint protectors on it. Who shoots with joint protectors, lol I made that purchase for the heavier shaft, however when it wasn't i voiced my opinion, but then decided to keep it.

I think you missed the point on this one.

The OP is stating that if you were not at home to receive the shipment, then how could you be at home to receive the shaft from the other thread he is referencing. Which I think is a valid point.

Angry much? I find it humorous when people get angry at the responses received on a public forum. My nose is firmly planted in its proper place. If you didn't want people responding, you could have worked it out with Monto and it would have never shown up on a PUBLIC forum.

I don't know you, I am however expressing my opinion. If you don't like it, feel free to not post, as you said you wouldn't do about 15 posts ago.

My opinion which is just an opinion is before these guys get up in arms over this,lets see if the butt actually gets back to Monto.If it does then it sounds like bad communication,if it doesn't then thats a different story.Goodluck
