A terrible person to deal with.

Here's the story, I sold a brianna South West style Butt to him in late july, due to butt being in my locker in Bangkok and i was in Chiangmai Thailand it took me more than a week to ship the butt to him.

I subsequently shippped the butt on 5th August and provided Mark with the tracking number. Mark Told me he was going out of town on a business trip and he will come back in a week. After i got another message from him asking whether the butt was insured and he was going to Canada and return on 14th september.
I told him not to worry and ask him to contact usps that he was not there and to make delivery arrangments with them.

The tracking is showing that usps attempted delivery on 11th august and due to him not being available they left a notice.

After i dont have any communication with him for a month. Suddenly he files a dispute with paypal without even contacting me, I put the tracking number on paypal transaction. I also send him message on paypal to contact usps and arrange for delivery with them.
Instead he escalates the dispute to claim and within one day paypal decide the claim in his favour without even asking me any question.

The money inlvolved is just 125usd but this is a terrible way to loose my hard earned money.

Please be careful in dealing with this guy and also help in advising how to get my butt back or send to another address in USA.

I have all the records of conversation with him and also orginal shipping documents to prove everything.

If you were a man you would have known to deal with this in a civilized manner not like some mommas boy without any class or tact.

I'm not sure if the package came back to you or where it went, however, i'm sure that, if it didn't come back directly to you, that you have a better chance of finding it than me.

No malice intent, but all in all, had i known, you weren't in the USA, i would never have dealt with you anyways, just a gut feeling that things would get messed up ,and that's not to say anything bad about you personally.


If you check the tracking you'll see that it arrived back in Thailand, i have no idea where it went.

Don't come on here trying to say i ripped you off.

I do not have the butt, have not seen the butt, and the tracking says it's in Thailand, i suggest you look at your receipt or go to wherever you mailed it from to find it.

I have no control over the mail service, especially when it involves another country

Did you not give a return address surely you have a receipt, i can't help you if you don't.

The post master told me that they will only hold a package 30 days , before they send it back, i do not have it , and if i did i'd gladly pay the money back to you. My guess is that it is on it's way back to Thailand if it it isn't already there

Is it my mistake that you are not there to recieve the cue for more than a month? And when you can send me message from canada why cant you send an email to usps or call a 1800 number? Is it my responsibilty alone?
What differnce does it make that the address i ship the cue from is in usa or outside? Or did you just screw the deal because i am not in usa?
How difficult is to contact anyone on az billiards? I just check the tracking and it is showing that they left a notice at your place. I will go to my post office and check if the butt is in Thailand.

I was under the impression i was getting a shaft made from denser wood than usual, being that it was 13mm and advertised as weighing 4.2 ozs.

. On the average all shafts weigh 3.8 ounces, i really wanted a heavier shaft as i thought i was getting.

I'd be willing to bet that all of these shafts carried the same weight, if you count the weight of the plastic thread protector, no one shoots with that.

I will contact the mail office tommorow and i have had more transactions than you can count, so dont worry its not heart attack for me. But everyone here now knows what you really are now. And that was my only intention to make fellow azers know who to be carefull of

This is why it is important when shipping something to also include in the terms where the FOB is.

I have always been of the belief that if I sell someone something online and they would like to have it shipped to them, I'm doing that as a courtesy. They are free to come pick it up. As far as I'm concerned, as soon as it leaves my hands it's handed to the shipper, it belongs to the customer/buyer. I try to be very clear about that when I'm arranging any packages.

That's why I offer options on shipping and will insure the package if the BUYER would like, it's their product. Especially in this kind of situation where the buyer ordered something to be delivered and then wasn't there to receive it....oops. I certainly wouldn't file a complaint and get my money back through ebay or paypal or any other service without trying to rectify the situation first with the seller.

I have to agree....bad form. The guy did everything on his end that he agreed to do and you snaked your money back out of his pocket.

I'm not saying you're a bad person or that one person here is right or wrong, I don't have enough information for that. Just that by the sounds of things, you made bad arrangements for delivery and then charged back and honest seller without notice or even an attempt to see if he could help you out of your mistake.

Thanks, I will post all communication with him in few hours, i need some sleep now as it is alredy 4.30 in morning here. I have also orignal shipping papers.

Shotmaker heres the deal

Shotmaker its time to be a big boy. You bought the butt end of a cue period.... Monto went to all efforts to fulfill your order. If you want to keep playing in this AZ sandbox with the big boys then I suggest you do the following:

Repay Monto in the original full amount plus the additional shipping he has incurred. Stay in one place long enough to receive the cue and be done with this. Work this out with a money order thru FAST_N_LOOSE. No more Paypal

I've dealt with Monto and he's a stand up guy

I feel that, if you knew you were going to be away for an extended period of time, and you knew that you had packages coming, you should have notified USPS and placed a hold on your mail.

I really don't know what else Monto could have been expected to do.
