Beau is a fine young player out of Minnesota who has qualified the last three years with runs between 90 and somewhere in the low 100s.

This is part one. http://vimeo.com/19826130

I had to stop it while recording because Beau wanted us to check to make sure he did not foul a ball. Part two will be up later.

Thank you for uploading this and other 14.1 videos from the derby straight pool event.

If possible, could you please generate mobile versions of your videos with Vimeo? It would allows users on smartphones that are flashless to watch the videos. Either way thanks again for filming this and uploading it for us to view.

watched beau play 9 ball in vegas, the only time he missed was when he was playing a safety! yes he is good...no doubt!

I play with Beau alot and play him in alot of tournaments here in Minnesota.

When you play Beau you better put the boots to him or he will do it to you real quick and the next thing you know he's on the hill.

We are very fortuanate here to have a player like Beau to play with and compete against.

He works hard at the game and deserves everything that he gets from it.

Plus. He's just one of those guys that's just good for pool.

Beau is the real deal. In 2009 at the US Open he lost to Mika on the hill. You never know what might have happened? IF IF IF.......................

Beau

How old is Beau? He plays really good pool, especially good at pocketing balls. Love his tempo, cue ball speed and you can tell he thinks a lot about every shot while playing straight. I think he may leave trouble balls go too long (on the side rails) though and goes into balls when he doesn't have to. Overall an exceptional pool shooter.

Beau

He must be about 26 or 27. Here is a story about him from a few years ago:

http://www.billiardcoach.com/home/2009/12/12/pool-stories

He's a very nice and respectable young man who comports himself well on and off the table. It has been a pleasure watching him play in our straight pool challenge the last three years. The first year his run in our challenge was his high run ever, a little over 100, I think. Then he had a 90 something the next day.

He does take a little time with his shots. A 100 point match between Beau and Charlie Williams last year took 3 1/2 hours.:boring2: We left, had a nice dinner at Binions, came back, and they were still playing!

He is a bit faster this year.

I love watching his videos. For some reason his "gentle" style speaks to me and gets me amped up to go play. It may be kind of random but he is my favorite pro to watg. i bet i watched all of the high runs of his about 10 times each. Silky smooth. It always amazes me that someome this good doesnt seem to make much money. Do you guys understand this? He isnt a full time pro somewhere that i can see. Obviously he is one of the top players but this cant be his full time profession right? Just amazing to me that he can run 90+ balls under comp conditions on tight diamonds and do well in various tournaments without this being his main career??
