Hi all,

i have a very nice Bender 5 pointer for sale. Plays really solid, one of the best playing Benders i have held in my hands. excellent balance and consistent hit, with a great feel. but as im consolidating my collection, this has to go.

sold, with 3 shafts. Paypal only, please add 3%.

-5 points with Stunning veneers of maple, teal, orange, black
-textured leather wrap.
-signature ringwork throughout
-butt 14.28oz
-shaft 1: ivory ferrule, 13mm, 3.72oz (just changed to kamui med)
-shaft 2: ivory ferrule, 12.2mm, 3.56oz
-shaft 3: unknown ferrule, 12.5mm, 3.30oz (looks to be newer shaft)
-58"
-standard Bender pin with his inscription
-condition 90%
-butt straight
-shaft 1 and 2 rolls pretty straight
-shaft 3 has slight roll

so ,you basically have 3 bent shafts, and want 1450 for the cue. are you
insane? mike bender is the most over rated, over priced, cue maker in the
world! case in point. on his web site he sold a plain jane for $3000 dollars!
only an idiot, with more money than brains, would pay that price.

Wow, only been on the board for 3 months and have already bashed a couple of cuemakers! By the way, it is against forum rules to make comments about someone's cue like you have in your post above. You have a bright future here on the forum!:mad:

It is funny... I mean Mike only manages to find 30 idiots a year to pay those prices. And some had paid way, way more. Some idiots have to wait a few years to pay those prices. Then those same idiots won't part with their cues for anything. Idiots, complete idiots.
 
This is a public forum but comments against a sale is totally uncalled for. We are all big boys and girls, and have no need for your advise on how to spend our money.

It is against forum rules to bash someone's sale thread.If you don't like the price or item,please, simply move on to something else.In other words,"If you don't have anything nice to say,don't say anything at all" Please have some manners.Folks are trying to buy or sell their equipment and you are definitely NOT helping.AND,Mike Bender makes an awesome cue.I own one.Do you? All I can say is $1,450 is the cheapest Bender I've ever seen. I can't believe this has lasted more than 15min. at that price.

I was thinking the same exact thing.

I don't think I've ever seen a PERFECT straight shaft, just about all shafts will have a slight taper roll, it's wood and the nature of the beast. I've wanted a Bender for a long time and if I had the funds, I would snatch it up in a heartbeat. The deals always seem to come along when I'm broke,lol.

Also, I've reported the offensive post to the mods, hopefully they will do something about it. Now everyone just needs to burn him up with some red rep. :grin:

Crawle back under your rock, it is against forum rules to knock some one for sale thread. Save your opinion there is no need for your attitude here.

Oh and by the way, I just hit the individual with Negative Reputation and turned cal jane Red to them sometime to think about their next post.:smile:

were not straight. All I did was point it out. Second, doesn't the word forum
mean public opinion? I gave you my opinion of Mike Bender's cues. Don't
you believe in the Bill of Rights, and freedom of speech? Or doesn't it apply

I wanted and dying to be one of the guilty idiots to buy his cue. But unfortunately, I can't afford to be guilty at the moment.
Can I be guilty through association since my best friend shoots with a bender? Can i can i can i?
