bent joint pin

Take it to a someone who builds cues, or a good repairman, and he should be able to tell you if the pin is bent. JER is right on, most of the time, I get the bent pin in the cue story, and it is the joint needs refacing. Sometimes it is soooo much grime at the joint it throws off the alignment. Good Luck

I bet it's the faces not the pin.

Hello, any cue repairman should be able to correct his problem. Whether it is the facing or even a bent pin it is easily repairable, and the repairs should not have a noticeable effect on the cues playability at all.

Just barely loosen the cue to where the joint faces aren't touching and then roll the cue. I'd say that if the wobble goes away then it's in the facing of the cue. If the wobble is still there, I might have someone look at the pin. You'd be surprised at how a little bit of anything on the joint facing can cause a cue to look really crooked. I also found a big lint ball in the bottom of a Meucci insert once that caused some wobble problems. Good Luck
