I will play Karl Boyes at Derby City race to 50 or 80 10 ball on 9ft Diamond. If I win I promise to play in London, England for at least same bet or more minimum $20,000. Only rule is both places have to be played on a Diamond. I don't care about the other rules except I would like no jump cues but I will stay play. I can post tonight with whoever?

I'd love to see this match happen.

I don't understand the second part of Boyes' response. He's saying he won the Bigfoot 10-ball tourney last year at DCC which is why he's not going to DCC this year?

Boyes won the Bigfoot event in 2013 in Tunica, MS. He didn't play in 2014 or 2015 at the DCC. So maybe his "last time" comment refers to the last time he played. But I think it's an intentionally silly comment anyway.

If he is for god's sake make them use the Accu-Rack or Magic Rack if the ref racks LOL... Love Ken to death but I give him crap all the time about the rack so please read this as a joke... I know they will play rack your own......
 
Feeling frisky!

Will I hope Bergman wins, but Boyes can play good pool.

I would rather see Boyes and Strickland do a race to 25 with winner breaks and no jump cues.
 
Don't see much benefit in this for Karl Boyes.
To make a challenge to someone of 'Call someone out.' Should not be conditional IMO :thumb:

I'll play you anytime, anywhere as long as it is in the US and played on a Diamond? IF I win then I promise to play a return match in the UK?

Not much of a call out IMO - and if Karl Boyes refuses to travel 3000 miles to play on a Diamond then some will call him a chicken ducker -

IMO - If the gambler wants to gamble, then he or she should make their journey to the Casino :thumbup:

It's a callout in the sense that Boyes has won multiple world class events, made it to the finals of the us open, not to mention all those mosconi cups and the diamond 10b 10ft challenge. Bergman's won some events too, but the big winners for him seem to have been tar-type events, 1-pocket, and barbox majors.

Not saying it's david and goliath, but it's definitely ballsy to seek out a match with someone like Karl.

Great that he'll do it again if he wins, but it'd be really impressive if he said he'd do a second set even if he loses.
