Oh there's more than a few bar box players you wouldn't bet against on any table.
Which one would challenge for the top 50?

You are looking at the USA List. 780 Fargo won't even make the top 100. Sorry you can't be a Vending Machine specialist and be world class. It's not about your feelings. The data makes it so.Jason Kirkwood #42 fargorate 749

You ought to step up and play these guys.
Bergman started paying the bills with his cue at a young age. He's been in the trenches playing big money matches for yrs. The knockers here on the NoNuthinForum don't have a fkng clue about his pool life.i'm not gonna use that expression but there are a few american players with unfulfilled talent. life choices, but also look at where pro pool was at when they came up..
imagine the practice discipline and participation level of fedor or svb and apply it to justin hall, mitch ellerman and bergman. i know, if my aunt had a beard etc but it's an interesting thought experiment

and if my aunt had balls she'd be my uncle.i wasn't knocking. those three players mentioned are exceptional talents. take j-hall as an example. tyler styer doesn't have half the talent j-hall has. darren called him one of the biggest pool talents he had ever seen. fast forward 10 years and there are people avoiding buying him in calcuttas because he might turn up in a non-competitive physical state..
ellerman is a part timer, but still one of the most naturally talented players in the world. i just wonder where these guys would be if they practiced like svb, tyler or fedor..
I remember being in a pool room and a couple guys werer all froggy and flashing a LOT of cash about :Bergman started paying the bills with his cue at a young age. That dude was fun in small doses though! The greats are considered the greats no only because they play well, but because they play well and have their shit together with a work ethic to match..
Most, including myself dont give a shit about Joe Schmo who had all the natural talent in the world but couldnt keep it together long enough to be anything more than some drunk or drug addict who occasionally showed up and played pool when he needed some cash
Funny how it works that way. I'd often get the old: "You need to play for money to get better." pitch from area lock artists. I'd tell them that I was just into the game for recreation, didn't really care about getting better at my age, but if they liked playing for money I'd be glad to call my honorary nephew, a son of my deceased best buddy. They'd ask his name. I'd give it. He's a near 700 Fargo. Suddenly, they didn't want to get better, I guess...they never asked me to make the call.I remember being in a pool room and a couple guys werer all froggy and flashing a LOT of cash about :
Bet some real money...
Who came to play...
16-17 y/old Bergman walked in and they got quiet. Maybe they didn't come to play, lol.
