I would love to see some pro 8 Ball matches on DVD. I know there are probably hundreds out there, but are there any that might be considered "Legendary" or "required viewing" for 8 ball? I know my way around 14.1 and One Pocket, but not 8 ball. The friends I play with all play 8 ball so I wanted to see some top-notch players show me how it's done. Any suggestions would be welcome as I have no clue who would even be some of the best 8 ball players? Or are the best 14.1 and One Pocket the best 8 ball players too? Are there any signature must-see matches?

Thanks guys!

Quite possibly the best match that they have is Efren VS Mika at the Accu-stats 8 ball invitational in 2001. Mika never missed a ball and still lost.

I have an Archer 8 ball match that was pretty good. He played Efren I think.

Speaking of 8 ball, I watched the Manalo/Bustamante IPT match the other day. Great footage, but it would have been nice to have commentary along with it.

Possibly the best 8 ball match that I have viewed. I think the first 8 rack are break and runs alternating breaks.

The 2001 invitational was great...Billy's commentary was very educational!

Very much agreed. My favorite match is the 2001 Invitational with Efren against Bustamante. The guest commentator is Tony Anigoni. I really enjoy the banter between these two. It is quite hilarious at times. What is especially awesome is that Anigoni asks a lot of questions that are clearly ones he knows the answers to, but he is basically setting up Billy to give a little lesson. Incardona has a great knowledge of the game, and does a superb job of explaining the strategies. There are LOTS of break and runs, but also some 15 inning games that tern into total chess matches. Bustamante's break was REALLY "ON" that time. He SMASHES the rack and really parks whitey...it is amazing to watch. I have this match on VHS and have pretty well worn out the tape. I need to grab this on DVD myself.
