best 9 ball in their prime Buddy/Earl/Efren/Parica

I saw Lassiter in his best years.
I don't think he could've cashed many winning tickets against Reyes.
True, it was different times, different rules, equipment. etc. Nevertheless, my opinion still hangs with Reyes.

Are you really well into your 80's? Because that is what you would be if the above is accurate.

I was looking at some of the old accustat ratings, I gotta say, seems Reyes was usually a little ahead of Strickland overall, so I guess based on your list Reyes. Although as others have said SVB is pretty damn good.

If you went by Accu-Stats ratings Sigel would be at the top, and he and Varner both have winning records overall against Reyes at 9-ball.

When I asked Buddy about making money gambling, he told me the most he ever made was in OK, not Shreveport and the amount he won was surprisingly small. (He told me the best year he ever had, and he thought it was alot, but most factory workers make about the same amount)

But what I have heard, Buddy in his prime was a pretty solid bet and giving weight to Keith, and most other comers.

Efren is my favorite player, and IMO the best all around player of all time, but even Efren's cueball control is not in Buddy's league.

Siegal was probably strongest tournament with Earl right there too. But I am so petty, and Siegel is such an a$$ it taints my view.

Funny how much we think alike.
Efren favorite player Buddy had the best cue ball I ever watched and Siegel and Strickland right there and I also think Siegel could have used better people skills.

I was standing next to Siegel and Varner at a tournament when Johnny Archer was just coming into his own, Siegel was angry at Varner because he had been playing Johnny cheap nine ball, and he was learning too much from him too fast.
Then Siegel says "Why don't you teach him how to play straight pool for 10 a game, and then we won't be able to beat him at anything"!
I think I remember spitting my coffee all over the room laughing.

I can't find any Mike S videos that really impressed me.I take it from what you all say that he had a great game though.
