Best action spots in houston tx

I dunno, but I have heard that if you can't come out winner from Charlie hustle's house, you got no business going anywhere
You won't find anywhere downtown and will have to head to Bogie's which is on the north side or Big Tyme in Spring which is close to there. My wife is from Houston and we went to visit right after Christmas and I found $100 1 pocket action at Bogie's in the middle of the day.
You will probably get played at Bogie's on the north side and Legend's in League City on the south side. Both are safe places to find action. Bogie's has a snooker table. Legend's has a shuffleboard table.

Hey guys where are the best spots for nightly tourneys and $ action. Never been to Houston and want to play every night somewhere Safe! Probably stayin somewhere close to down town or will try to find Hotel close to a good pool hall.

Bigtyme is the nicest, cleanest room in town. It's about 5 minutes from bogies. Both on the north side. If you are ever going to find substantial action it would be at one of those 2 spots.
Legends on the south side is a good room as well.
Any others I'd say don't waste your time lookin for action.
What kind of action you hunting? Game? And amount?
I got 3 different speeds of players in my household. I can guarantee you action of some sort from my household.
And if it's not like able on our end I'm sure you can just go into big thymes or bogies and find a little action.

Don't stay at the Howard Johnson near the airport (close to Bogies and Big Tyme). If you do, don't leave any valuables in your room. Trust me on that.

On a slightly different, yet similar, vein, I'm going to be in Houston for a few days in mid-April and am looking to get my cue re-tipped as soon as I can (I don't want to have to send it away, which is what I'd have to do on this side of the pond). I've had a look at the Big Tyme website and saw the photo of their cue repair shop within the club. Can anyone tell me if there are specific times/days when the cue doctor is in his/her surgery?
