Best and worst commentator??

Good, JJ, Frost, Earl, John Schmidt, Rich Granier. Worst is Mark Wilson. Can't stand that guy. He always says the exact same things and only ever talks about fundamentals the whole match. Smooth cueing action, transition from back stroke to front stroke, aids in consistency, etc etc. gets tiresome.
To be fair, Mark is one of our best instructors. So he’s almost obligated to talk about stroke fundamentals.
Of the current commentators I think I like Boyes the best.
I would rather not comment on the worst, but IMHO Jeremy Jones is the best all around.

Agree, Buddy, Billy and Nick were my favorites. Liked Grady too!
For worst I don't have any specific name, but I hate it when they talk about stuff that isn't even pool related.
There was that one bizarre commentator (in one of the Puerto Rico events?) who said some really strange things but I suspect he was pressed into service on the spur of the moment. Not bad, exactly, but very strange.

Yeah, that was the guy. Sort of like Sid Waddell (RIP), but far less coherent and amusing.

Sid’s a Legend of both pool and darts commentary. Don’t have a clue about either, but was fund to listen to.
