I forgot about Mike, I would certainly recommend him over Scott. Mike is a great guy with a reputation that is totally above beyon repute. In addition his work is about as flawless as it can get.
I don't know if Paul Rubino is still active but he used to have a lot of the old Palmer parts and did a terrific job restoring Palmer cues.
Definitely an east coast guy.
I wouldn't hesitate to send any cue to Proficient or Mike Webb.
In fact they are at the top of my list to send some nice Josswest cues I have that were not finished very well.
I would second Paul Drexler. He has done a great deal of work on old Palmers and deceased legend cuemaker's cues. I believe he has some of the old parts as well.
