best in canada

No, you said very clearly in this thread that you think Morra is flat out a better player, one of the top 3 in Canada while you think Edwin is not. Thus you should be willing to bet it even.

Having trouble keeping up with your own posts?

In the other thread everyone else said Edwin was better. If everyone bets on Edwin the line on Morra will rise.

Do I think John is better? Yes. Am I the one who gets to decide who is better? No.

I guess I might take a minimal money odds line if they play. (and they wont) ;)

I agree with you.Just because you think Johnny will win doen't mean you shouldn't get odds.If 95% of people say Edwins a lock then you should get odds but you know as well as anybody,a fair bet now a days is rare.I"ll throw my money in with yours if they ever do play but thats if we get the weight:eek::wink:

ha. he didn't just say he thought Johnny would win, he said flat out Johnny is better.

If someone came to me and said, let's play a match, I think I'm better than you, but you have to give me weight, I would tell them to take it up the flagpole.

He said Johnny is better, if he's going to put his money where his mouth is, he should expect to have to bet on even odds.

I always get my money in bad spots, Id suggest betting AGAINST me.

Just because I said John plays better dont mean squat. If everyone had the same opinion no one would ever bet.

But, since they'll never actually play in Calgary. I'll bet some with you even and I'll take John.

Johnny IS NOT a money player.Actually he is, but never wins.

This can be confirmed via my paypal account.

I know he isn't with us anymore but honorable mention should go to "The Machine Gun, Bill Gann" Not to be confused with the other "Machine Gun, Luc Salvas"

for those of you who dont know Alex still holds his canadian passport so he is still in my mind the best player in Canada klatt 2 Mora 3

best player right now is Jason Klatt...but the smartest guy when it comes in pool,no other than Paul Thornely.

As of right now Jason Klatt is the best player in Canada and dont be surprised if he wins the u.s open.....Ya i said it

Here's my opinion on this ..

Klatt seem to be the man to beat right now in Canada from his result in the state ...

Moora is close but not yet , i say give him a year or 2 more for the experience and he's going to be the Futur TOP canadian ..

Martel has nothing else to prove in Canada , he's the man right now , but against Klatt i would love to see it ..

Martel played Hjorleifson race to 60 on one of the hardest table they have and Martel won 60-46 ( Here's the link to see the match Martel VS Hjorleifson

Also Hewitt .. when he's in stroke he's a beast that can destroy Anyone ...

(On a side note : a guy from Montreal name Martin Lalonde who just became a pro about a month ago , played Hewitt in the Quebec Provincial Tourney , race to 9 , Hewit won the first game , then safety battle for the 2nd game wich Martin won , and then proceed to put a 8 pack for the match against Hewitt.. let me say that was pure beauty to watch and that 8 pack was without any position error or anything ... So he won , then he played Alain Martel after , started the match with a 5 pack ... So he's going to be one to watch in the futur !! )

So hard to say but my vote goes to Klatt and Martel...

There you have it .. :P

I played Martin Lalande a couple years back in a tournament in Laval Quebec. Race to 9. I won the lag, came up dry on the break, and he ran the set out. Nice to watch, but torture to live through.
Super nice guy though.
