Best in your area...

I'l have to keep an eye out for Damian I guess. Lance hardly ever plays right now, (women), but plays great when he's on. Undefeated in the IPT qualifier, snapped off the Eureka tourney for $3k, won the BCA nine ball awhile back,etc... Nobody around here has to like it in nine ball.

With Billy working full time and Tony out of the area, I suppose the time is right for a new face in the Bay Area to make his mark. Everyone else seems to have more important things to do than hit balls all day to try and be a champion. Houses around here average 500-800 thousand dollars so squeezing a few bucks at the local pool hall just don't cut it.

Joey was the first non amateur player I evere saw play. before I saw him play, I did not know pool could be played that damned good! he literally is my third favorite player to watch besides efren and earl.

I think joey would beat chen in a loooooonnngg race. maybe like 20 ahead. he's just too experienced and he has more heart than anyone I've ever seen.

and david g is the best one pocket player, Billy is the smartest player in all of Texas at any game.

9-ball - Chen is favored over Joey (at least, that's what Joey told me)...
1-pocket - They still save David G. would rule supreme! :p

Female player... Leslie Rogers?

i didn't know David G moved here...and also didn't know chen was that strong.

Yea Bud, I know what you mean. I'm actually from Modesto and commute to Santa Clara everyday. It's so damn expensive.

What Lance are you guys talking about? I knew a couple Lance's from California. Are you talking about Lance Salazar?

Our area is divided because we are a border town of Ontario and Quebec.

Ottawa, Ontario

Steve Bourada

Gatineau, Quebec

Dan Mineault

Women: ask Jiggs!

what are you suggesting PoolSponge? lol
Don't forget about Marina Linguerri though. I would put her as pretty much the top Ottawa female. (But I'm from Gatineau, so its ok.. ;) )

> You guys are lucky to have players like this in your area. Here in Union City,Tn,there has been one guy come into my local pool room and beat me,and he didn't live here. I'm barred out of a 3-4 handed dollar a man ring game. No one that lives in this town of 18000 has asked me to play for more than 5 a game in 4 years,as square as I can put it. The thing about that is I've basically been playing maybe once a week in that period. I'd get drilled in a LOT of places, simply because I've exhausted all the resouces available to me. Tommy D.

Yes, I was talking about Salazar. He was playing great and then the lack of local tournement or gambling action, and the death of the IPT made him lose interest. It doesn't help that our local pool hall is getting worse every day- playing on sh!t equipment and listening to non-playing idiots squeel their Nextel phones the whole time doesn't make you want to hang out there.

He golfs and chases girls as much as he plays pool now. His game is not as consistent as it should be maybe, but most people around here know that if he's on that day, he can drill just about anyone. Including a lot of "pros".
