I put Schmelke. Why ...hmmm....well per your choices they are all sticks meant to move a ball around a table, some are constructed differently than others but who's to say which way is better, so it came down to the Schmelke being constructed at an American family owned business. In other words the economy and patriotism. :)

Is Schmelke still made in US? I saw the logo that said Made in USA.

I have a mcdermott M1 I got for 80$ ;)

mates with my Olney/Predator shafts perfectly.. and the finish on those mcdermotts is fantastic for a sneaky.

if I could get a sneaky out of Jeff, I would shoot with that ...

That is a good deal, good for you.

Players has 1 year warranty against factory defeats, better than most other brands.

I work for Cue and Case that owns and distributes the Players Brand of Cues. Just wanted to mention that since May 1st 2008 ALL Players cues come with a Lifetime warranty even against warpage (even the Players cues that RETAIL for $44)

As far as I know, Players is the only brand that has cues that retail for under $100 that have a lifetime warranty against warpage.

I'm gonna chime in here and give a prop to the Nick Varner line. I have a NV Sneaky that hits amazingly well. Great little cue that I would feel very confident in pulling out of the case and shoot a tournament with no problem. I also have a Players Butterfly Sneaky that hits so well I will never sell it! NEVER!

How much is it?

Just find/purchase an older bar cue that's straight, this way you know how the cue plays and feels then, give it to a local cuemaker, one that's well experienced yet not nationally known, this should keep the costs down. I would imagine there are some pretty dam good house cues up Nort....:)
