Check out the Ultra-Pete @ www.dominiakcues.com

Bill Dominiak has been supplying many of the major Cue makers with some of the best hard rock maple shaft wood around!

This is a real Sneaky.

I put Schmelke. Why ...hmmm....well per your choices they are all sticks meant to move a ball around a table, some are constructed differently than others but who's to say which way is better, so it came down to the Schmelke being constructed at an American family owned business. In other words the economy and patriotism. :)

Players makes the best under 100.00 dollar cue. A cue dealer told me that & he sells lots of other brands but, the Players is constructed better he told me.

I have to agree with the 2 posters above me. I was flat out amazed at how well the players cue played. One fault I have seen with their sneaky cue is that since there is no collar they tend to split along the grain after allot of abuse. But honestly for under 100 bucks they are a pretty good cue. I would love to give Dominiaks Sneaky a try though.

I have a Players sneaky that I bought for $60, specifically to leave at the local bar where I play quite a bit when out with the wife. I got it because the house cues there are awful. After I took the weight bolt out (it was a tad heavy for me) and replaced the mushy tip with a good hard Triangle, I love the cue. I even take it out of the bar now and then as my player.

I have a player and it too whippy for my taste. but after i blued the shaft, in a bar playing on coin-ops, its clandestine purpose fits well. i also don't care if i leave it in the car overnight.

of course, as anything, you get what you pay for...and with any cue under 100, your going to sacrifice:rolleyes:

Dufferin

IMO, the best cheap pete is a dead straight Dufferin with a pin added... people will laugh at you when you tell them that the house stick they are shooting with is yours.... until you break it down and walk away.

McDermott S1 . Because of the warranty . McDermott has been Lifetime Warrantying their cues since . . . always . Players has the warranty , too but McDermott has the reputation and ( not that any of us would consider selling our cues ) resale value . I'm just not sure that it's really a 'sneaky' due to the stainless buttcap that glitters from across the room.
And to CDryden , I also feel that when you put in a joint collar , it ceases to be a Sneaky .
The perfect Sneaky gets mistaken for a house cue every time.
The Schmelke's are nice , but wasn't the OP 'under $100' ? Don't they list like $175? You must have some killer discount plan . . .

S1 is good, but I don't think you can get it for uder than $100, unless a 2nd one.

Best S/P cue- cheap!

I've sold close to 2 dozen Sterling S/P cues and none of them came back with problems AND most of them, (including area hustlers) are still playing them! For well under $100, you get a Pro taper, LePro tipped, (13mm), fiber ferrule, clean white shaft AND they even have weight bolts for wt. adjustments !!!
