Best Instructional DVD's By Far...............

Just became aware of the situation - been thinking about buying these for the last 10 years or so.

Just ordered them and I am sure they are well worth it.

I was fortunate enough to visit with Jimmy and a few other great players at the DCC - Diana Hoppe was filming their 'road stories' and he was feeling in good spirits.

He was a tremendous player for years. I wish him the best.

Darth (or whomever can let me know this),
I also bought a set off ebay a few minutes ago. At the time they said there were 4 left and my purchase took a little extra time so I don't know if any are left. The main thing I'd like to offer is to promote the sale of them with a link on my website: www.poolbum.com If someone can let me know what info I need I will put it on my front page. I guess I need to know what link people need to follow. Maybe I can create an ad with Jimmy's pic, a short explanation of situation and the link. I know the link to ebay but if they're out of stock I'd rather not redirect people there. Any ideas? My direct email is PoolBum@poolbum.com. Thanks for your efforts. It's nice to see players rallying around someone in a time of need.

I just talked to Jimmy Reid and he is posting more sets to e-bay. I'll have the new link on the first page of the thread in about an hour.

Thanks from one Paul to another. Just mail the payment to Jimmy's address posted on the e-bay auction site. I don't have anything to do with payments or shipping. I'm just a good friend of Jimmy Reid that's doing him the honor of posting his lifetime of hard work for others to enjoy. Paul:thumbup:

Thanks Lenny. I told Jimmy what you are doing to help and he is very greatful. I set up his az account for him with the permission of the mods and did his avatar and signature. He made 2 posts last week on ask the pros but is still too weak to do much else. I'll say one thing for the man, he refuses to let this beat him down. I remember him being down 10-0 in a race to 11 several times and winning the matchs. Not too many people know this about Jimmy Reid. If you had him down in a big money match, you could own all his money, credit cards, bank account, car, house, wife and first born because he wasn't going to quit as long as he had a breath in him and something of interest to keep you in the game. And he was going to come out the winner. This is why I have always believed in Jimmy Reid and will continue to fight for him to my last breath.

Sorry for the confusion.............

I posted a bad link in post #60 of this thread and got a couple of pm's stating there weren't any dvd's left and the auction ended. From now on, the only usable link to the auction will be in the first post of the thread only. I edited post #60 to delete the bad link. If the auction ends or runs out of dvd's, I will be in touch with Jimmy and he will give me a new link as soon as he reloads the e-bay site. Thanks again and sorry to all of you for the confusion.

Hey Darth, Thanks for getting the link and inventory stuff worked out. I was able to put the link and a nice "ad" for the sale of Jimmy's DVDs on my front page. I used his photo off of Ebay. Hope that's OK. Check it out if you want to see how it turned out: www.poolbum.com . Even though I'm in the Philippines, most of my traffic comes from the States. Anyway, I hope it helps.

I called Jimmy after I read this post and he was almost in tears. You all have no idea how much this means to him. Your web page is very informative and very well constructed and more azer's should check it out. Again, Jimmy and I thank you for your kindness.:smile:
 
First post. I've just been lurking around here for a little bit, trying to get a few hints to get a little better. Found this thread and just ordered a set.

Got your message and updated the link on poolbum.com. Thanks for your quick reply. You're really staying on top of the DVDs/ebay stuff. If you pay such close attention when you're at a pool table, I suspect you're a force to be reckoned with. Give my best to Jimmy. BTW, I also play with a Capone and love it.
