Would the rattle associated with Olhausen tables (Accufast rubber) be solved simply by using a) neoprene facings with the existing Accufast rubber, b) replace cushions with rubber other than Accufast c) cushions other than Accufast AND neoprene facings? Looking for the best solution.
I know that Accufast cushions are supposed to outlast others but I want the rattle minimized to the least bit possible and if that means using a different brand of cushion then so be it.
Thanks again to everyone.

those ideas won't fix it. the facing are cut, by that i mean the wood the the facings are glued to, at a different angle. wide at the mouth then the throut then other tables. you would have to recut the rail at a steeper angle to eliminate that problem. or, shoot at center pocket, balls on the rail can be spun in.

unless anyone else has a better idea. i sold Olhausens for years and i am a player. i have talked with donny about it, he won't change'em lol

ummmm...yes, it can be done without having to re-cut the pocket angles, I've told a few other mechanic's how to do it, but I'm not going to broadcast it here:cool:

RKC.....Would one of those mechs. be Cuephoric? I only ask because I know he's near my area frequently and i know you are pretty tied up just installing the Diamonds. Thanks

Glen,

I had the chance to try it out on an Olhausen and worked great! Guy called back TWICE saying what a difference it made in pocketing balls.
Thanks!

Cuephoric Can do it I just don't think he travels with a table saw with him yet. He can do it once he gets the right equipment I haven't done any tables with him now in about 6-8 months. I can call him walk him through it he can pick it up quick If he han't already. It is easier with a table saw then with a chop saw or table saw with a blade.
