I've never tried Sieberts so I can't tell you anything about them. I like Muellers and I always order from them, but they make it hard to order at their web site. Only because they are trying to make sure you are not using someone else's credit card.

They want the name and phone number of the issuing bank and since I got my cards in the mail I don't really know the bank name or the phone number. Lately I have given up trying to order from them because I'm too lazy to look for the information they want.

I have had good success with pooldawg.com. Real cheap and delivered (drop shipped) quick by CueStix

I hear good things about seyberts, im probably going to order from there soon cause they have really good prices. Ive only ordered from cuesight and off of ebay because for supplies i can just take the train to blatt billiards.

There is usually a phone number on the back of the card.

Thanks, you're right. I just took my card out and looked and sure enough the number is right there. That is too funny... :o

I usually order from two places: MUELLER's and also BILLIARD FANATIC. As far as Talisman cue tips are concerned, a member named Drivermaker offers great prices delivered to your door.

I usually use Muellers because I have a catalog everywhere I look, on the desk, at the office, in the crapper, by the couch etc and, since they are just a few hours away via Rt. 80, the delivery is very quick. In addition to Muellers and Seyberts I 've had good success with Hawleys, Beads n Billiards.

FWIW, I prefer Seyberts. I think they're smaller, but at any rate the "feel" more customer friendly.

No, I just happened to have those and some Tiger tips on hand that I knew wouldn't be used on my cues. Better that they're used than sitting here getting dried out through rot.

Really? You're saying that laminated tips degenerate over time?!?!

I don't know whether they do or don't. I guess ANYTHING can degenerate after a long enough period of time. As an example, I was looking through a cabinet in my home last week and found an old blood pressure unit, so I thought I'd try it out. When I squeezed the rubber bulb to blow in air to activate the pressure, the damn rubber totally disintegrated in my hand from dry rot. Those tips aren't old, however it would be an interesting question to ask some of the cuemakers who have had them laying around for years.

You don't have any Tiger tips anymore.... :D

I'm a former chiro and those blood pressure bulbs can be replaced from your local medical supply house.

Any leather will dry rot if kept over a period of time. With the LePro's, we used to add a small drop of Linsead Oil to keep them preserved, but that was only if we knew they would be around a while.

Billiard fantatic is the best cheap shipping only $5.00 and they have a lot of good tips!!!!

I normally order everything I buy from Seyberts becuase it seems their prices are a little cheaper and their customer service hasnt let me down yet.

I have in the past purchased from Muellers and Hawleys and have not had any problems with them either.

i dont know wher you all live but I have 2 different billiard stores within 6 miles from my home.I usually just go in and buy what I need.If you arnt paying shipping it comes out to be about the same and you give your money to local stores.

billiard accessories

I have orderd something special from Muellers and also from Hawleys and
had good service from both.

BUT, if it is just chalk or a TipPik or removable bridge or something like that,
I just buy it from my cuemaker who is here in town. They stock billiard
stuff, and like a box of chalk, Masters, is $3,00 for 12 pieces. They also
have 4 9 footers in their shop which are kept busy with 1 pocket and
straight pool.

If not him, then a good billiard room.

and save the shipping and handling charges.
