Best Non-Phenolic Break Cue???

My Lomax jump cue is great & I put a Samsara tip on it. btw - if Steve is installing the Samsara tip now it is a change. His stock tip has always been a "special" phenolic - that's what he told me it was. I don't like phenolic either.

Yep, Steve has switched to the samsara tips now. The ferrule is phenolic but the samsara tip is standard on his j/b cues from now on.

Update:

I bought an OB Break Shaft and put it on my Carmeli Sneaky. I love it! Can't recommend the OB Break Shaft enough. The Samsara Tip gives you a ton of control.
Thanks everyone for your help.

Samsara

The OB breaker comes with a leather tip from Samsara that is awesome in my opinion. It breaks as hard as phenolic, but controls the rock well also.

Of course, you can put a Samsara on your current breaker or any cue for just a few $$$$.

I replaced the phenolic tip on my Sledgehammer with a hard Samsara & have enjoyed the same positive experience.

I bought the Poison jump/break because I like the colors. The cue itself feels really light but it breaks really well. I would prefer something that is a little heavier but I don't play much 9-ball anymore so I really don't care.

Tips for Lomax jump/break and jump cues

Just so everyone will know. I use the Samsara tip on my jump/break cues and I still use the bunjee tip on my jump cues. Both cues have phenolic ferrules.

Best Wishes,

Steve
